Concepts in the donkey test Ok, I know there are posts about the donkey test but I can't find an answer for this one. Hand from $11 25k GTD final table I think it all depends on the action that develops on the flop. I would certainly make a continuation bet and see what he does. There's roughly 140k in the pot right now, lets say you make a cbet of 120k and Posssi shoves all in...now you need to pay 580k to win a 1500k pot so you're gettin a little less than 3:1. Now let's say he's an average TAG player, as he's on BU he could have anything from a pair (up to 99 cause I think he would re raise TT or better pf) to suited connectors like 9J, TJ, JK, 9sTs, Ax suited. PLO8 - Bet or Check the flop? After getting sick of betting the pot on the flop with the best hand just to be "bad beaten" on the turn I decided to start checking the flop to see if my hand held up on the turn and then bet it. I have only one question... How could this retard POSSIBLY think he was ahead on the flop'...please help me understand... How to play AA and KK? I play only MTT and I usually run fairly well until I get AA or KK and get KO with it...i'd say that 80% of the time I'm KO I'm holding these pairs so I'm wondering if I'm playing it correctly...well, honestly all these KO happen after some donkey sucking out on me but I still would like to know what you guys think... this is how I usually go out... Bad luck - week 3 I just don't understand what goes on in the heads of online players and I also don't know how to play AA and KK anymore...basically I play only tournaments and ALWAYS I'm KO holding AA or KK...I play a tight-super agressive game and most of the time i show the nuts or close to it at a showdown but some ppl don't even realize that, make terrible plays and knock me out with mediocre hands... I just played a 1k gtd at AP and I was running pretty bad, which wasn't a surprise to me since I've been running like that for 3 weeks now...so I'm down to 10BB patiently ... Thanks guys...I agree with both of you...I just posted this cause I've been playing a HORSE tournament and used to run very well...finish 1st or 2nd at least once a week but after reading super system on razz and stud and improved my game I found myself maybe playing too tight (like always folding when catching a paint) and haven't ran deep since then...specially when playing stud hi/lo I stopped playing pairs like KKx or QQx and when having a good hand like 234 and getting action I usually throw it away when I get a high card or a paint... I hate stupid ppl PLaying a PLO tourney...ppl were jamming the pot pf with total crap hands like JJ34 or 2235... With 15k in chips and blinds at 300 I lost with top set to some douche who decided to chase a 3 high flush and get it on the river (yup, the guy was holding 3c4c58)...then lost the remaining 5k to another idiot who chased a gutshot and of course, got it on the river. Good poker skills online... ...means nothing at all...(This was a $25 buy in SNG) So i have the guy exactly where i wanted...he thinks his hand is good enough and put all his money in the middle when he's a huge dog...he was a 19:1 dog in this case and that's what happened... a couple of hands later...on the same tournament... that wasn't enough...cake wanted more...and ON THE SAME TOURNAMENT... then cake decided to make it up for me... but right after that... What's up with the min pf raise?
