Is poker game of skill or random events ???
Overall it 'tis obviously a game of skill. However the most skilled person can encounter losing periods but will generally win. Obviously a tarded question. But, the slot monkeys will also contend that slots are a game of skill by picking the right machine that's ready for a pay out etc. Yes, they actually believe this. In contrast, non-poke her players will contend that poke her is not a game of skill cuz they are as tarded as the OP. Just sayin.... Oh, I got side tracked. Pokerstars Purchases FTP???
Didn't Stars come out with their own version of Rush Poker' This seemed a little shady and possibly illegal to me' So, surely not the sole reason for buying Tilt but could be an added bonus that Stars no longer has to worry about repercussions from their own version of "Rush"' Or, maybe this deal has been in the works longer than we all thought and possibly when Stars launched their own version of Rush they already knew they were buying Tilt soon' Purely speculation mind you, just thought I'd throw it out there...

Proper BR for 1/2?
I've started playing somewhat serious live 1/2 in a home game once a week and have been doing fairly well. A few weeks ago I played 2/3 in Tahoe and finished a little up ($200) over 12 hours or so at the table. I was a winning on-line player before B/F and am starting to feel like I can win at live 1/2. I've heard rumors of juicy 1/2 home games going on that are a 2 and half hour drive away and I have some non-poker playing friends whose couch I could crash on. If and when I make the drive I will probably want to stay and play for 2-3 days. What kind of bankroll do I need to start with to be ...

Funny thing is Lock doesn't even tilt me anymore (my latest session)
I must be a slow learner or very hard up to play on Lock again!!! Are there other mac friendly alternatives' I just spewed out $20 on .02/.04 ring games. A quick breakdown on my all-in hands... Merge took my $30 deposit again, for the life of me I can't build a fucking BR again
For the last ten months I've been throwing $30 on merge about every other week and playing $1 or $2 sng's and MTT's and can't get anything going in the right direction. WTF' Can't even grind it up to $50. Merge fucking hates me and I hate Merge!!! It's all the DOJ's fucking fault... Fuck you DOJ. Fuck Howard, Chris and Rick. Just bought a plane ticket for Reno yesterday and leaving on 2-27 for the week. Fuck online poker suck out mother fuckers!!!! FUCK!!!! FUCK you Merge, just FUCK you.... Best action in Tahoe for weekday MTT's?
Planning on being in Tahoe at the end of Feb from the 27th thru the 1st (weekdays). Where would be the best place to play MTT's with $20-$100 buy in or cash game $1/$2 or maybe $2/$4. I'm really interested in playing large field MTT's but any poker is better than no poker. Any thoughts'

Hi I'm new I have a poker question or about a hundred. I'll start with one.
There are probably better than I to answer this but I'll take a stab- So let's say there's 100 chips in the pot (nice round number) you have a flush draw with no over cards and no straight draw so you have 9 outs or roughly 35% to hit your out and make the flush with two cards remaining. Next, let's say it's just you and one other left (villain) in the pot and you have position. You both checked after the flop, now the comes the turn.
