Re(6): Adam Friedman...WSOP Main Event "CRY GUY"???? LOL, Ok man, don't get your panties in a knot. I must be a bookworm also, since that's my name...........I couldn't have played sports at a high level. Well, all I know is I went from either being drafted or playing D-1 baseball to just being an average college kid because I blew out my arm. I didn't cry, because I know things happen. No need to cry because you lose. Champions keep their emotions in check. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Adam Friedman...WSOP Main Event "CRY GUY"???? Crying after matches = nutcase. You were probably the kid who threw his helmet and cried after striking out, too. Please don't have kids if they're going to follow in your footsteps. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(5): How far would you go to win? For 700K, I would call the penalty and proceed to wear a name tag around for the rest of my life that reads, "The little bitch who called the F-bomb rule on Daniel Negreanu." I could probably bling it out with that 700K I made off of it, too. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Am I sick or just a typical player? LOL @ the helmet comment. I love it when the weathermen here tell the viewers to put on a helmet and protective/shatter proof goggles (Yes, they actually do this).... - "So sir....you were picked up and thrown a quarter of a mile by an F5 tornado. Your house was destroyed; how did you manage to survive'" - "Well, I put on my daughter's spare Barbie helmet, landed square on it, and the damned thing saved my life. Thank God for HUFFY!!!" Re(2): Am I sick or just a typical player? I'm from Oklahoma, so I was aware of the situation last night. That being said, you should have stayed in and played. Those were some weak ass tornados. I saw a dude on the news who kept driving on the highway alongside one of them...that may be a bit much...but it got better. He even turned so that he was going towards the tornado and just drove fast so he could try to get past the thing before it crossed the road. It was hilarious. But yeah, storms are gonna happen in OK, my general rule of thumb is keep playing until the power goes off. Then you should move pretty quickly. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hollywood deposit bonus? I saw on Card Player's website that Hollywood Poker has a 1000% deposit bonus. I bet it's ridiculously hard to clear but I was wondering if anyone had anymore information about the bonus and maybe what the site is like. Thanks. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Was this a bad preflop fold? You can't look at it like it's a straight 7-1 shot. You just have to think if you hit it, will you get paid off. With that many callers and the big stack in, I think is an easy call. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Wow...party just ruined my day. Well, couldn't this drive weak players away' Sure it might benefit better players at a micro-level (one tournament), but if the game becomes harder won't there be a lower volume of weaker players' It seems to me that the better players will have to take a greater amount of time and spend more effort on decision making to make the same money they used to be able to make at these SNGs (at the lower level mostly). I thought better players sacrificed a little wiggle room playing wise in the Party SNGs in exchange for the capability to make large amounts of money quickly by multi-tabling very ... Re(2): The Paper Rock Scissors approach to poker This is OT but here it goes... Back in my baseball days, we played a team who challenged our team to a rock, SCISSORS, paper match for a dugout in a tournament. They were ragging on our team for being from a wealthy suburban town (was a bunch of farm boys), and then they claimed we were too good even for rock, SCISSORS, paper. They refused to play rock, PAPER, scissors for the dugout and took it anyways...because they were farmboys after all. Just a story, I'm done now... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
