Re(1): POTRIPPER PXF HH
ok. i know im going to get flamed for this...but... i just watched the first ten hands. first of all, this is far from solid evidence. the hh is in question as it does not even play by the rules of the game, ie... the order of action is messed up multiple times. that sheds speculation on the validity of this evidence. im not saying there is no super user account. im not saying that potripper is not one of them. im just saying that this video is not sufficient evidence. ok. first ten hands only: #1 - a bit interesting but not damning #2 - a bit interesting but not damning #3 - why does SB ...

Re(3): 2 questions on this hand
he pushed all in on the flop with JJ. i called and missed and i busted out. his flop push was such an overbet.. obviously he was protecting a weak over pair.. but i though it might have been what a hand like AK would do... oh well

Chris Ferguson and the min. raise...
Have you guys noticed a significant increase in the min. raising from EP since the FTP book came out' In it, Ferguson teaches to raise 2x the BB in EP, 3x in MP and 4x in LP. It seems like everybody is 2x it now when opening from EP. Have you noticed this too'

Re(3): hand vs. The D Ry.. good fold or was i played?
i chose to fold b/c i had a stack double the avg. and didn't feel like flipping at that point. i would guess he had a small pocket pair. he had made similar moves twice prior to that and flipped up deuces both times. i asked him what he had. no answer obv.

Re(6): Online Poker Speech
tell em it gives inner city kids an alternative to the "thug" life of drugs and gang violence... i.e... try to establish a connection between online poker and the solution to some perceived societal dilema. in the end it doesn't really matter which problem you choose (AIDS, autism, immigration, illiteracy...) just pick one and then explain how online poker can help combat it.

Re(1): Calling with J J knowing other player has K K
i don't like your reasonng. with 20K chips left and 1/2 blinds, you can play some poker rather than gamble half your stack with a 4 to 1 dog. as i side note: if you were going to call an all in.. you shoulda just pushed instead

Re(2): How have you blown your bankroll??
i tilted off half my roll playing PLO.. then got shitfaced at the bar... then hooked up with an "aggressive" tranny.. she/he scratched me all up "in the moment"... so, i had to spend the rest of my roll to pay some dude off the street to beat me up real bad... that way, i could hide the true cause of my scratches from my wife.

Re(2): Question about the 4.40's...
they are right... no matter how good you are, you can EASILY go 20+ tournaments without hitting final table. there goes your $50-100. 50 buy ins should be plenty to start with though.

Re(3): Question about the 4.40's...
i don't know the exact numbers, but i would guess that i am up by $1000-$1200 since Sept. 1 in the $4.40's... i would guess that i have played somewhere around 225-250 of them in this time. if someone has advanced sharkscop and wants to look me up and let me know my exact $4.40 figures for the month... ty. edit: i believe these are correct for Sept. $4.40's: 206 played = $906.40 paid in (5) 1sts (5) 2nds (1) 3rd (1) 4th (2) 5ths (3) 6ths (2) 7th (2) 8ths (1) 9th (8) 10th-18th = $2332.08 in winnings = + $1425.68 profit = + 157%

Re(1): Obama and poker
its just another form of flop poker. in Obama, you get 4 hole cards and there are 5 community cards. your best 5 card hand is then formed by using exactly 2 of your hole cards and exactly 3 of the community cards.
