turned nutflushdraw facing donklead
Good points chardrian, I forgot to mention, it was a 10 rebuy, and the table has been very soft, not playing back at all without a hand. that and the fact, that I have a blocker in my hand are strong arguments to open here. I cbet although he most likely has something on this board because he also could have a low pocket pair or middle-ish suited connectors and missed, assuming he would just fold those hands. Given that I know that the BB is an above average player and let's say I call the turn and whiff, I do not think I could bluff him out of the pot on most rivers, or really any river. My ...

turned nutflushdraw facing donklead
10 rebuy: i didn't have a read on the guy other than him being a winning player who knows, what he's doing. thoughts: board smashes his callingrange, figured i cbet anyway to try and win the pot. wtf does the lead mean' i always find it hard to believe the villains when taking this line. could mean a couple of things: 2pair hands, combodraws, nuts (straights & sets), pure bluffs (although i discount a pure bluff w/ nothing here, because I certainly could have a decend hand on this board as well that I would not fold to a bet that small) raise' call' fold' what do you do' pokerstars Game ...

J8o UTG 11bb shove close to FT bubble $11 turbo
i fold this all day and get a walk the very next hand :) if not i am very likely shoving bvb if its folded to us the next hand and so on. althou it's a 11$ turbo ft bubble with very shallow stacks, there will come better spots than this one, which I guess is -EV from a handstrength and ICM perspective. just my 2 cents

Hand History Needed for New Video
love the way you pointed out why bet/folding is better than check/calling in one particular spot (part 2, we flopped topset of tens and possible flushes and straights came in on the river). really good concept. also like that leakfinder format a lot. Keep it!

Help with increasing stack size pre bubble....
Review your own handhistories. This is very important. You will find spots which you missed while playing and probably find some of your own leaks (regarding betsizing, playing position, handselection etc.). Gl!

Some Spots Deep on $8 freezeout on Stars.
Hi peterswellman, my 2 cents: hand 1: we've got no info on the villain in this hand. the 6x preflop often means exactly what it seems like: "I have a strong hand, and i want u all to fold. I don't wanna see a flop with it and want to win the pot right now." In my experience ppl usually do this w/ TT,JJ,QQ & AK. But every player plays different and he obviously can do this w/ other hands. In this spot I would just be like whatever, give up and fold. We invested a very small percentage of our stack and we do not even know where we are if we hit top pair. I'd just fold this and move on. ...

AA utg
Hey folks, yesterday i played a $55 MTT on stars. During the middlestages I had like 15 BBs holding AA utg. I've had a tight, solid image at that point. The table is full of reshovestacks (around 20BBs). I've been in a similar situation a few times now and wonder: Woludn't it seem weaker to openshove the nuts instead of raising with a 14-17BB stack (w/ the intention of calling an all-in obv), especially from early position' If there are a few regs at your table, I doubt they put AA,KK (or even QQ') in your shovingrange. Most likely, this looks like 88-JJ, AQ, AK, doesn't it' So if I sit on ...

final table bubble hand
i totally agree. thanks for the replies:) the fact, that the only smaller stack has like 13BBs at the other table makes this an easy shove in my opinion. have been arguing w/ a nitty friend about this hand. he drives me nutz.

final table bubble hand
..$55 MTT - 10 left, u have 15 BBs when folded to you holding Ks2s in the small blind. Big blind has you covered (he has like 35 BBs). The average stack at this point is something like 26 BBs. Must be an easy openshove or am I missing something (regarding to ICM)' Thanks in advance;) edit: 5-handed (obv)

coaching advice
OK, thanks for the responses. Although I've made decent money playing MTTs, those I had a decent cashes in were all lowstakes. I find myself getting pwnd too often when I'm playing MTTs like the 20rebuy on fulltilt or something like that. I've already red many books, including WPT 1+2, Kill Everyone and some psychology coverage as well. I just want to make me stay focused, understanding poker theory better as well as getting (way) better @ hand reading. And imo, a coach is the only option. Will try to get help @ PXF, if not succesful, will hit Jennifear up.

PKRpwnage ftw
Hi there, I've joined this site almost a year ago. I believe, it helped me a lot watching almost every vid on here a few times. I've never shipped a MTT except some small 180s before i joined PokerPwnage. Since my description, I 'vewon a few like a 10+ on stars, two 26$ fos on tilt and finaltabled many other midstakes tourneys. Looking forward for the WCOOP, which I am likely to play many events in depending on how the sattys will go. Hopefully, my mind is clear so that I can focus and maybe hit a big score:) Tyty PokerPwnage!

closing mode
This is a thing I really had trouble with lately. I've found myself deep in MTTs over the last few weeks, but I couldn't close one of them, actually ft bubbling in like 5 or 6 of them and getting 6th in another. Obvioulsy frustrating -.- The last one i went fairly deep in was the $25+2,50 on Pokerstars. I was 4th or 5th of like 45 remaining when I played this hand vs (in my opinion) the strongest player at the table. I 3bet him once so far, which happened the hand before and I had no balls to make a light 5bet w/ K2o, which i should have done. So in this hand I was dealt AKo on the button. ...

AQo blind vs blind
Ok, last night i played a 5rebuy on stars, did pretty well and had position on a megadonk who 4x'd 4 orbits in a row when folded to him and i never had a hand worth playing, so i folded each time and waited for a spot where i would be able to get the best of him. Just would like to hear some opinions, cause I think I would make that play every time vs a guy, who overvalues hands like that. Getting yourself to think out hands.
I will look out for that video, too. Just yesterday I watched another one from HerschelW, in which he explained the type of hands u should consider reshoving vs certain opponents. He mentioned that a hand like A7 or any ragace might be a crappy hand to do this with. Well, i still have that in mind, but just a couple of hours later after watching that particular video I decided to do so(reshoving A7s). I misplayed two hands in a row and had to watch the poor play at my table, where they openlimped garbage and called a 16BB shove with it etc. Finally I found a hand on the button.. A7s and said ...
