Laptop for parents... Hi all, I'm looking to buy a new laptop for my parents in the post-christmas sales and wondered if anyone could offer any advice on what to get' Essentially I'm looking to pay around £200-£300 ($470) and there needs will be pretty basic, just something to browse the internet and use basic Microsoft office applications like word/powerpoint. What is the best drinking game you have come across? the pyramid game.... you make a pyramid of cards face down, 5 cards bottom row, 4 cards next row, 3 cards etc.... Then you deal all players two cards, they get one chance to look at them then place them face down in front of themselves. You then turn the bottom left card over and players can allocate didge to other players. eg: if the card is a four, on row one it would be worth one didge and if i have a four i can tell someone to do a didge. However, i can also bluff that i have the four and tell someone to do it. If they call my bluff and i cant show them a four i do double the didge, ... Posted in: Off Topic |

What would you do with £68million ($108m)...? I'm sure there are a hell of a lot of threads like this, but I just bought myself a lottery ticket for tonights Euromillions where the jackpot currently stands at £68million. The figure just seems astronomical, I mean winning 50k would be huge, winning a million life changing, winning 5-10 million you'll never have to work in your life, but 68 million (100m US) is just incomprehensible... not hating but mbn doesn't mean he's not well off outside of poker and thought why the hell not' For example, guy plays at university, only plays $3-4 buy ins as he has nor roll, then gets a graduate job for a good company and decides to play the Sunday million a few times... I must admit, i like playing in the low stakes tournies that actually have really good structures, but i've got to agree they're just too long to play to min cash etc... Also, same for all Europeans i guess, but events like last nights NLHE start here at one in the morning and as its university exam time here its either gg exams or gg scoop events.
