Good or Bad Laydown in Live 5/5 game
Must move table means they will automatically move players to keep the main table full. So players are constantly moving in and out to keep the others full. I added it to note that a lot of player reads are incomplete. I definitely do not put him on an over pair because he is 100% re raising with 10 10 or better. And my point about him lamenting about "another flopped set" on the flop but still calling made me feel he was pretty strong. I also think you are misinterpreting the pot size. When I check raised to $135 there was $135 in the pot ($65 pre flop plus two $35 bets). When he calls my ...

Good or Bad Laydown in Live 5/5 game
Was playing a pretty active 5/5 game. It is a must move table but I've been playing with a few guys for a few hours. My image is pretty tight to the point one guy takes it upon himself to point it out to the table that I only get involved in pots with the goods. Previous hand I call a $25 raise in the SB with 77 with 3 other people in the pot. Flop comes A73 rainbow and I end up doubling up and then some to about $1200. Same guy who points out how tight I am playing states "That was a three hour hand in the making". Very next hand, info guy (about $350 behind) makes it $15 to go. Kind of ...

Sport bet come backs
It was a long time ago and I don't remember the details of the bet, but I lost the last leg of a 3 team parlay by a half point on a missed extra point by Morten Andersen on the Saints with less than a minute to go. The worst part was I thought I was crushed because I was down and the other team was driving. But a pick 6 gave me what I thought was a totally improbable win. Only to have him hit the upright. Morten Andersen was a 99.9% career success rate on PAT's.

Elementary School shooting in CT
Only speculation but if this is like a murder/suicide and the shooters kid is involved he could have walked into his kids classroom and just opened fire in there. Most Kindergarten classes are 20 students. Perhaps he started there and made his way to the administrators office after.

Elementary School shooting in CT
Reports are one 24 year old shooter possibly the father of one of the kids. At least 18 kids and 9 adults killed with more injured. As a father of a 7, 9 and 11 year old this obviously hits home hard. No words.

One At-Bat Campaign
So Adam Greenberg is going to get his at bat on Tuesday with the Miami Marlins against the Mets and RA Dickey. I think it is awesome that he is getting this chance and it will be an incredible moment not only for him but for baseball as well. I'd imagine that ESPN or will have to carry the game or at least cut in for the at bat live. Ozzie Guillen said he will pinch hit with him sometime in the middle of the game and if he gets a hit, he might let him get a 2nd AB as well. I for one, hope he does it.

How fast can you throw?
I'm 40 now, but still play regularly in an 18+ league. I probably still throw in the Low to Mid 80's, however I am an outfielder and not a pitcher. But having a strong arm has always been a plus for me and also allowed me to play professionally for 7 years in the 90's.

You can purchase a Dukes Card and Bobs Card for $3 each as you are walking in. They are professional handicappers and will look for horses that are good value. Look over each of their selections for each race and if they match up anywhere, bet to win or put them in some exactas for some value.

Samsung Galaxy S3 (android lovers unite itt)
I have had times it charges really fast and then times like last night when I left it charging all night and wake up to it being only 55%. I use a standard micro USB wall charger in the bedroom. The charger the unit came with is plugged in next to my computer and when plugged in there it went from 55% to 92% in less than an hour. Different chargers will definitely give you different results. I also think it helps to restart your phone when you notice longer than normal charging times. Too many programs running in the background will zap the battery. TIP: I'm sure most of you guys already ...

This thread dominates the other in every respect except for the pics. I think that was part of what endeared localface to everyone is that he would post the most random photos all the time so people had a visual of his exploits instead of just words. We need a "spontaneus benefactor" to spring for some paparazzi to follow Jay around snapping shots and then posting them here.

What's the weirdest thing you ever left on top of your car?
Once driving down I-5 in central California I stopped to fill up my tank at a gas station in Kettleman City. About 70 miles later, one of my kids needs to use the restroom so we stop again. Wife asks me to grab her a coffee and I go to reach for my wallet and it is nowhere to be found. We look all over the car and it is gone. I think of the last place I used it, which was 70 miles prior back at the gas station. I get out of the car, a Tahoe at the time, and there it is, sitting on my back bumper. I drove 70 miles down the freeway, and my wallet sat on the bumper the whole time and never flew ...

How many games before you could score in a pro sport?
Having played professional baseball in the minor leagues, you'd probably be surprised by this response. While hitting a baseball is one of the toughest things to do in sports, it isn't at all like it is impossible. I guarentee that anyone with even a little bit of athletic ability would have at least a chance to put the ball in play and get a hit. Even the worst pitchers hit around .100 Don't get me wrong, I don't downgrade the difficulty at all of how hard it is to hit a baseball, but all of the people in here who are claiming that everyone would go 0 for 600 are crazy.
