I think you played the hand absolutely perfectly only potential fault would have been the river call, but given the way it played out, it would have been a tough fold, due to the very small number of potential hands that have you beat, given the range of hands he reraises you with preflop

Positive Thinking
All of the recent posts about running bad, and the susequent posts reguarding thinking positive (the gigabet article from august that I missed, which is AMAZING) have gotten my thoughts out of the gutter, and the results are already showing. I just flat out OWNED a 45 person $10 sng on stars, yeah not high stakes, but I had 85% of the chips in play with 6 left, never done that before in my life (had a chiplead that big I mean) Feels good expecting to win again

I am a little late in reading this, but man do I love drugs I smoked bud every day for nearly 3 years 17-20 years old, took 1 year off smoking bud, and started back up a little over a year ago (only the most dank) In high school I had a friend with ADD, who got adderalls, and being a burnout with a job, really enjoyed the ABUNDANT energy associated with eating/snorting adderalls. Not sure why I mentioned that shit, but anyway as far as poker, when I play live on adderall....I am UNSTOPABLE!!! (ha...not really...but my results are pretty damn good) I find myself REALLY focused on EVERY bit ...

I wish I could quit playing, wish I had never discovered poker, and I am actually still up somehow...had 9 straight winnings months from june 04 to march 05, august has been my only winning month since, 14 MTT wins during winning streak, ZERO since (not that I play nearly as many) Poker (or gambling in general) is sick

really really good post I suffer from this...will be playing a few tourneys at a time, have some short term extremely bad luck, and proceed to steam away all chips on all tables. It is just retarded, and I know how dumb it is while doing it, but can not stop.

That radio broadcast live during the final table was amazing, most of the time Either Hellmuth or Daniel were on the air, with many other pros stopping by for a while to share their thoughts. Was so interisting hearing what those guys noticed at the table, and the corresponding reads as to what players held.

I think this is a HORRIBLE play for 1 reason....do you really think that guy with a HUGE lead over 3rd place is going to risk finishing 4th in this situation' Why not let the the 2 shortstacks dwindle to nothing, take a guarnteed 2nd place and play him heads up for first' That seems to be the only logical thing to do for me. Sounds to me like you are trying to set up all these advanced plays at a TEN DOLLAR SIT AND GO which is likely to be over in 5 minutes.
