haha yea......they come in here and try to one up each other with the insults It was a legit question. I've never sued anyone in my life. The only reason the thought ever crossed my mind was because I didn't sign any waivers and was thinking about what would happen if something like this went to court. Sad to see some posters I enjoyed reading shit from like LV acting like children and following the herd.

Most places that are owned privately that offer some kind of activity where you have potential of getting hurt make you sign shit to cover their ass. This place didn't have me sign shit and I got hurt under their roof, I'm sure my question is not that crazy. Again it wasn't anyones fault that I got hurt just a freak accident. Should you be able to sue. No. Can you sure' Of course, this 'Merica, where everything bad that happens is someone else's fault. Not blaming anyone for this at all, in my eyes it wasn't even a foul. I dabble a little in soccer. Four days ago I broke my collar bone in our mens over thirty league. The place I broke it at is a fairly big sporting complex that offers soccer, hockey, flag football, and some other sports activities. It wasn't really anyones fault, I was running with the ball and the guy behind me, trying to get the ball, tripped me up and I fell on my shoulder. The Best Poker Books Out There?
In order to beat 50nl and up you will need advanced books with some relatively deep thought in them. Those limits, online atleast, are filled with good thinking players. Bookwise, I would recommend Professional No-Limit Holdem Vol.1. However, you might get more out of a training site that specializes in cash games. A quick google search will show you what's available out there. Hope that helps a little.

WSOP 1k 2010....this day still haunts me....advice? suggestions?
I wouldn't be flatting KQ op against a strong oponnent raising in position, especially since you're not very deep. You're not going to outplay him often enough for it to have any kind of value. Personally I would just 3 bet all in pre. His late openning range is probably very wide so you're gonna get a lot of folds and when he does fold you're incressing your stack by like 16%+. However, him 3xing it pre with the antes being in play would worry me a little as a 3x tends to be a stronger hand so I can see a fold pre as a fine play as well. No offense but the flat just seems awful to me. ...

Not necessarily. With QQ there are 8 scare cards that slow down the action whereas with KK there are four and none with AA. Don't get me wrong, I would be betting all those hands for value but people tend to try and get fancy so it's POSSIBLE he slowplayed them (Unlikely but possible). He could also be running a bluff here knowing you can lay down a big hand. Don't forget that while someone might be playing good for a couple hours it doesn't mean they're not capable of spazzing out and making hero plays. After all it is a micro level. It's hard for me to buy that he has 7's because 3 betting ...

You call here all day. You've put in more then 30% of your stack in and the only hand that beats you is qq. He's not 3betting 77. If he is solid his 3betting range is gonna be 99-AA, AJ+. Queens he's usually c-betting on flop. I think he tried to get creative with AA or KK. I really hope you called. Please don't fold monsters against someone who is "agressive and capable".

Local $2 $5 game... Weird spot.
Make it 80 pre, if it's an over agressive table the 3 bet is getting called in both spots. Ship all flops. You are not deep enough to play it different. If the button folds then you can bet 160 on flop and get it on turn if he comes along. Trapping with aces with this shallow stack is not good strategy.

I would fold here. With about 52bb he shouldn't be openning to wide from early position at a 9 handed table. However, if he has been very active then get it in.

I got pulled over on sunday for going 51 in a 35 zone. I wasn't going more then 5 miles over the speed limit but that's beside the point. At the bottom of the ticket it asks for "speed timing device operator" he wrote in "self". Fine. He then proceeds to fill out all the information about the speed equipment such as; serial number, date tested, and station at which equipment was tested. The problem with all of this is that he said he clocked me by eye and that they're trained to do that. Dude is sick 51mph by eye lol. Plenty of heart breakers, however the most painful one was Croatia losing in the semis of the 1998 world cup. We were healing from a war that was one of the bloodiest, in Europe, since WWII and it was our first time competeing under the Croatian flag. The whole country, and all the Croatians around the world, that fled the war were glued to their tv's. We get to the semis by crushing Germany 3-0 and then take a 1-0 lead in the semis against France. Secong half comes around and we completely colapse and lose 2-1 to the eventual champions.
