Florida Poker Help
I am wondering if the community can help me choose where to play poker while I'm here for the next few weeks for business. I am staying on the North side of Orlando. I am wondering what casino I should go play for cash games. I prefer 2-5 and 1-2 NLH. Thanks for the help!

Why did I get ripped for this shove? Seems standard to me...
Is the open bad because the big blind woke with a hand' Ashin was obviously that bad and the two callers behind my initial raise can't call my 4 bet shove with a marginal hand unless they are soul readers.

Why did I get ripped for this shove? Seems standard to me...
This 4 bet shove by me seems pretty standard to me. Figure I'm not getting called by the original callers left to act behind me unless they smooth called with a monster. Hell they might even fold 99 TT AQ

No check withdrawl on full tilt or bank transfer working on ftp
You shouldn't have to pay anything you already pay enough in rake. No wonder echecks don't work, Full Tilt doesn't want them to. They want us to have to do these bank wires. I'm sure they get a kick back from these so called intermediary banks that charge us such an outrageous fee just to wire money. Why can't these intermediary banks process echecks' What the hell is the difference where one is free and one costs so much more' Don't be surprised if you aren't able to get any of your money offline once this bill passes. Pocketfive Mods get special priviliges. :) A bank wire or echeck' ...

Beware - Full Tilt Poker
I initiated my first withdrawal request over a months ago. Money was returned to my account 3 weeks after the intitial request. They returned the money to my Full Tilt account and said that echeck problems had been resolved and if I didn't want to use those options then do a premium bank wire. I passed on the bank wire because of the fees...granted Full Tilt says they charge nothing for premium bank wires, but it seems silly to get charged $15 by my bank. So I went ahead and did the echeck request again for the same amount. Few weeks later I get an email saying that they are having ...

Poker during gap in employment.
Yeah I will be interviewing with a corporate recruiter who has a wealth of experience. Not a new start-up so probably won't mention anything about poker then. You both make great points! Thank you.

Poker during gap in employment.
I have a job interview next week for an Account Executive position at a company that's going places and one of the few interviews I have been offered that I am excited about. Anyone who has a similar experience please help. How do I explain a big gap in employment where all I have done is played poker and search for a job. Has anyone else brought up their poker playing while interviewing for a job' If so what was the outcome' Should I even consider bringing up poker in a job interview'

Worst Downswing Ever MTTs? It will help convince me the RNG isn't rigged.
I'm wondering what a normal downswing is and how good you have to run to become a ranked player' Oh and if you're a losing player it's not considered a downswing. So lets hear it what's the worst downswing in the history of a PocketFives legend'

Is it mathematically possible to beat this cash game?
It is unreal how bad it is. Basic fundamental mistakes made by numerous players who have no concept of implied odds and regulary call off 1/4 of their stack preflop only to fold on the flop. Average pot size really is $60 no joke! I know basic bankroll managment rules but I've heard of another bankroll management strategy can't remember the name of it where if you are way better than the competition and the game is good you actually only need 10-20 buy ins is this true'

Is it mathematically possible to beat this cash game?
This is a question for some of the top cash game players that may read this. There is an unbelievable live juicy 1-2NL cash game at a casino near Indianapolis. I have had tremendous results there, but I am wondering if it is just because I am running good. My question is this. Is it possible to beat the rake over a large sample size and if so how good do you have to be or how many bb/100 do you have to run at to beat the rake' I would appreciate the help as I plan on playing more often if it's beatable. The blinds are 1-2 Full Ring Avg pot size is $60 Avg# of players per flop is generally ...

Re:Did you guys see Tom Dwan on Poker After Dark last night?
I think Kenny Tran, or Laak would of had the poker mind and heart to pick off that river bluff by Dwan. Stop and think, it's either a bluff or a made straight. Dwan obviously didn't make set on river because there is no way he is calling with 22 on the flop and turn,. If Dwan flopped a set he raises the set on the flop or turn. He raises the turn if he turned two pair with the ten. I f he really hit the straight on the river wouldn't he try and get value from it' He has to know Safai can't be that strong with the check on the river. So stop and think Safai, if he really made ...

Re:Did you guys see Tom Dwan on Poker After Dark last night?
Every huge over bet I've seen Dwan make on the river on High Stakes and on Poker after Dark has been a bluff. Now I'm sure he's smart enough to realize he has to do that with big hands too and I'm sure he does. Sick player.

Soul Reader's or Calling Station's
I can't play any better than this. Is it just me or are their more soul readers online these days or super users' If so I am starting to wonder about my future in the game. I had been playing fairly tight cuz the table was lagtarded. Something didn't feel right when he limped so I didn't shove like I normally would have. FT 1k, 5 handed, can Aaron_Hacker ever fold this hand here?
Master only has 18,655 intially invested then he shoves the 5th bet in for over 400k. He has to have at least AK, KK, or QQ. Does he shove 5 bets in with JJ<. Hacker was getting more than 2 to 1 and not to mention the hand before he showed down a 4 bet shove with 88 so this is an obvious call right' Full Tilt Poker Game #10938508092: $1K Monday (80022688), Table 8 - 4000/8000 Ante 1000 - No Limit Hold'em - 3:41:12 ET - 2009/03/03 Seat 2: Aaron_Hacker (754,974) Seat 5: Masterhp (410,610) Seat 7: jpapola (277,407) Seat 8: 1Mastermind (156,917) Seat 9: bigdogpckt5s ...
