michigan is a top 5 job in the country. yes, in the short term (for the next year) this may look bad because WVU has better players now and michigan's stars are graduating, but rich can recruit the players he wants and 2-3 years down the line, michigan has a much better chance of succeeding on a national level than WVU

my birthday today and I SAW VAN HALEN LAST NIGHT
Ok first things first, happy 25th to me! halfway to 50 now the improtant stuff...i went to the van halen concert last night in LA...and it was incredible. eddie van halen's 15 year old son was playing the bass. david lee roth was goin nuts, and eddie rocked. one of the better concerts ive ever seen

oh trust me, in this game, i expect to win money. there are a wide range of players in this game but very very few are sharks. some that you sit down and expect to be sharks or talk like they may be sharks are so passive its not even funny. one of the main reasons i asked is because of the structure of the game. its a 3-5nl game, but a $200 buyin. If you lose the $200, you can rebuy for up to $300. one of the main edges in this game is that most players wont play a big pot without the nuts. i even see players with monster hands just asking their opponent to check it down on the turn and ...

thank you...this all makes a lot of sense ive been mostly a tournament player thus my results tell me when to get up. now that i live in the LA area im trying to get more into cash games because there are so many and they are so freaking juicy i ended up walking away from this one but something tells me next time if i'm still focused and going i'm going to stay

when to get up from a cash game?
So today I was playing the 3-5nl game at hollywood park casino in LA. This game, the max buyin is $200 so you play shortstacked until you build. I bought in 3 times (was in for $600) before finally building up my stack, and got up to about $1700 (obv brag post). because people had to buy in so short, no one else really had more than $800 on the table. I was a couple hours into my session but I was feeling good and could keep going for a while. the answer to your question (however stupid it is) is NO. you just realize it a lot more when you lose a coinflip when it knocks you out of a tournament. When you lose a coinflip for 1/5th of your stack you just shake your head and say who cares. When you (not you in particular, but players) bust, you complain "OMG I NEVER WIN A RACE I RUN SO BAD" etc i guess the key point is dont get in so many races for your tournament life

thanks the reason i asked is cause after that player went broke a few hands later, another player told me i was out of line also. i really didnt agree at all, but figured id just say ok and deal with it. he definately had gotten his point across and the pot was in his posession. i know its a cash game so time doesnt matter cause there is no clock, but there is only so much you can say to a dealer. there was no more good that could have come from what he was saying to the dealer. oh well...busting the guy up was fun

table etiquette...am i out of line here?
I was playing a cash game tonight at hollywood park and this came up ive folded my hand at this point. player a bets, player b folds. dealer starts to push pot to player b. everyone at the table says something, dealer pushes pot to correct player. player a then starts telling the dealer she cant do that etc, goes on for a a little bit, like a minute or 2. eventually dealer apologizes, he keeps going on, grabs a chip and says that these are just chips but have real cash value. i step in and say "ok she gets it can we just play'" and he starts screaming at me. he told me that i was in his ...
