Pokerstars Purchases FTP??? there is still a huge player base at FTP purely because of the $300m or so thats on the site owed to players, if even a thrid of those remain on the site and dont snap withdraw it would be the no.2 site in online poker Posted in: Poker Sites |

Pokerstars Purchases FTP??? everyone also forgot that stars also stops any legal action being raised against zoom poker which is a rip off of 'rush' poker. whoever bought stars would certainly start legal action against stars for infringing the patent on it. owning this patent is worth a lot of money now given how popular it is and how much rake it generates also +1 to goldend and anyone who doesnt understand why this is hugely +ev business decision for stars is clearly a dolt Posted in: Poker Sites |

flop trips, bad runout not a massive fan of preflop but suited its ok obv as played ch/call the river 2 missed str8 draws on the board which could bluff if you check, a worse queen bets for you anyway and pairs like 8x or 99 for example are not calling a river shove Posted in: Training Forum |

"I'd rather 72o than Aces" Looks pretty bad, a player that 3x is notcompetent Looks pretty bad, a player that 3x is not competent which means he will flat ur 3 bet. So your playing a bloated pot OOP with a bad hand. Posted in: Training Forum |

***- Official 888Poker Support/Feedback Thread-*** You need to also be able to rebuy straight away sucks having to wait for one hand to pass, or if you are on the last hand before addon your left with a half stack Also the bug where if someone shoves for 1.5bb total if other players call, for some reason you can only call in the BB. Pretty basic to fix but again this has been like it for at least a year. Table balancing, I mean its been like this for a year at least and is pretty redic Also you need to allow tables to be resized smaller, currently they are huge at the min size and its pretty hard to multiable. Also a stack or tile feature ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

WTF Pocket Fives.. Cardsfan04 vids. +1 to what has been said Also you have to remember that the best players are not always the best coaches. Its something that poker players really don't get but in any other field or sport they do. In Chess the top coaches in the world are rarely the top players of their time, if you take football (soccer) most of the top coaches did not actually play at the highest level. There are many examples of this in many categories. That said I believe you do have a point, and a less savvy or experienced player may not have picked up on some of the stuff you said. This is why its important not to ... Posted in: Training Forum |

PocketFives Triple Crown - Should We Change the Criteria? you could add pokerstars.fr into the mix and also other skins on the 888 network it may not be possible to track these obv but they get plenty of $10k guarantee's each week, so if you can it would make it a little easier Posted in: Poker Community |

Can I fold AK here? well I would prob get it in every time here. since the button called there is a ton (9k is) in the pot now and he could easily be doing this with a pocket pair or some random spazz hand that you are getting more than enough equity against Posted in: Training Forum |

Tell us your P5s training/pokerpwnage success story! Well I joined pwnage before I started MTT's specifically to learn how to play them. I am closing in on 100k cashes in the last year with 50k profit playing low/mid stakes all as a part time player A lot of it is to do with the vids i watched and the lessons I won (as part of weekly members torney) early on which set me on the right path to learning how to play MTT's. Particularly the couple sessions I had with Jerry and Nate singer were really good, though all the pro's were helpful Stack sizes vid's by gehttofab helped my fundamentals back in the beginning, but by far and away everything ... stars $5 2r1a i think i fold, and although you have TPTK your hand is relatively weak all draws got there on the turn or river, hands like KQ,Q9 etc, flush draws just hit, and you actually only beat AQ/A9 here in terms of one pair hands which I doubt shove the river here for value. You can only beat a total bluff here, and i dont see how he has any in his range as all draws got there. In fact I have been sitting here for about 1 0 minutes trying to come up with hands that he could reasonably have given the actions and I am really struggling to find one. Its tough to lay down strong TP hands especially ... Posted in: Training Forum |

flush facing huge overbet on the river when the board pairs I would prob fold pre to start with tbh As played I actually think I would be raising at some point. Stacks are deep and you have flopped big, your gonna need to build the pot at some point to make calling with a marginal hand worthwhile when you hit (to make up for the tons of times you lose pots) I would prob ch/raise the flop and if he flats lead a decent size turn/shove river. He has c bet into 2 people on a monotone flop. I expect him to have a hand here a lot of the time, at least some kind of top pair hand or club draw I ch/r flop for 2 reasons he will c bet flop with some air, when ... Posted in: Training Forum |

$109 Stars - Blind-on-Blind, 41BB Effective, Overbet 3Bet Shove from Active Player +1 chardrian his jamming 40bb which is a huge over shove and even if you are ahead of his range I think its super high variance and thin. I am not generally an advocate of waiting for a better spot. Here is applies though given you are plenty deep and as pointed out your are barely ahead of his range imo In fact I would say your even behind his range if he 3 bet shoves 40bb relatively light. If we give villain the following range, which I think is pretty wide 22+,A7s+,KTs+,QJs,A9o+,KJo+ - you are a slight dog Realistically when I have seen this its weighted to small pocket pairs and big ... Hand History Needed for New Video I have a good HH for review imo -I play 5-50FO and 3r-20r on tilt/stars and was starting to play higher pre black friday -I play up to 20 tables normally 14-16 - I chopped 3 way in a pretty tough MTT the 22cube on stars on a sunday . Play is deep to start with due to the cube nature of the MTT, so there are some interesting early spots. Late on there are quite a few really strong players with 3/4 tables left. A few really tough spots deep, as well which were pretty close, as well as some ICM factors on the FT as there were big pay jumps. in fact there was some discussion amongst my ... Big fold or flip to a CL stack? meh IDK i started to fold sometimes in spots like this, you have over 100bb and only invested 4 so far. It's one of those where i think your gonna have loads of spots to chip up easily so you don't need to take this always If villain had fewer chips then i prob stick it in, or you have some kind of read his capable of doing some spazzy/odd plays Posted in: Training Forum |
