*Stars Transfer Problems... Tonight a friend of mine was supposed to transfer some money to my account. We have transferred between accounts many times before. Well, he spelled my onlinename incorrectly and transferred to the wrong person. We realized this within a couple hours and I notified stars right away. Live MTT hand - Is this even possible?
This is not a bad beat story, just wanted some input. My first reaction was that, somehow, it was a misdeal. Then I was thinking I was set up somehow but I really have no reason to think that. Wow... Is my play here really that bad' I wouldn't ask if I didn't want feedback. I want to fix leaks and improve, but I didn't think it was THAT bad. I can handle critisism from better players but If I'm going to improve I need to know why it's bad.

I appreciate all the feedback... I decided to take the only Sunday I might have for a while and play a full schedule of GTDs along with the million. Sunday Mil entry - Do I take a shot
Thx for the advice. Another question for HSMTT regs: Which of the Sunday $200 MTTs is the softest' I assume the million b/c of ppl like me that satty'd in but I want the opinion of someone that plays them all regularly. I really never play sattys but I decided to play this one b/c my family is out of town which will give me the opportunity to play on Sunday (which I normally can't). Once I won the seat I started thinking about playing like 4-6 smaller BI MTTs instead. Here's where I'm at right now... As long as I've played poker I've never really taken a shot and played outside my bankroll ...

Short version - Haven't played much poker online over the past year and a half or so (took time away to focus on business/family). I never played a ton of volume, but when I was more involved I did well for the little bit I did play, but that was a couple years ago. Started taking it more serious over the last couple weeks and have done ok (won a couple 180s etc). Won a seat in the Sunday Mil tonight. But I have contacts in different places and can get just about anything a serious buyer wants. Pre-Paid Cards
Last time I used a pre-paid card to make a deposit on Stars it was an "All Access" card and I didn't have any problems. Today I was at Wal-Mart and picked up one of theirs, which I read the package and it said basically the same things, but Stars will not accept it. Has anyone used these Wal-Mart Gift cards for deposit' Do they work on any sites' Just trying to decide what I'll do with this card. Thanks for the help.

I can't tell you with any degree of certainty that I'm good enough to fold this in the heat of battle. I can only hope that I would be as confident that we're beat here as I am looking at it from this perspective. Honestly, there's really nothing in his range that he flats pf, and open shoves the river that we can beat. Add that to the fact that our range is super narrow and I'm confident he's got us beat. Must be a very recent change... I researched which method was best for Stars about ago and just about everybody (incl. an e-mail from Stars) suggested All Access was the most reliable. So I bought one 2-3 days ago and it worked with no problems. Even the exp. on the card was the same as yours.
