goin south of the border, looking for room to rent!
Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself and get myself out there. My name is Bryan, & I'm planning to move to TJ/Rosa between the next 7-30 days. I'm 32, have lived in so cal all my life. Currently I play 9man sngs on Rev, backed by a solid well known group. I'm finally ready for moving across the border to move up levels & play on legit sites, among other things. I don't have piles of tracked income, but did finish 19th on 1 SS leaderboard in '11, & have a couple rankings now (small sample, beginning of yr) and a really good group i work with, I can go more into it when its time. Woulda been nice, let alone professional, for any of the skins, or either of the networks let us know via email' A forum post on the other forum hardly suffices. Did anybody hear anything anywhere besides the other forum' Good lord I'm so sick of this, ft/doj crap lately, & nowhere to use my online poker skill to provide a life for myself, & no ability to do so any other way like a normal person due to private circumstances. A Wise Man Once Told Me
I read the same book. I thought it's a very mathematical approach, and for that type of play it makes sense if you do the rest of his gameplan correctly IMO. I think it's more about ranging specific opps & boards etc & it's situational. That's what I try to do & what I think the mtt beasts do very well to gain a big edge.

Merge Canceling Tournaments
BCP posted it on fb earlier, I don't remember what time it was scheduled for and this seems a bit early but they did mention it on social media for the fish. Unfortunately we're the enemy as it stands now and merge along with bovada would rather we were gone since we're not donks etc..

Poker and the Death of the USA
Ya it's a sad state of affairs, I agree with you pretty much. I'm in a gross spot myself, can't decide to stay or relocate, can't really afford to & aren't real happy with either option, basically trying to decide between the lesser of the 2 evils.. I just don't see anything getting better before it gets even worse and I'm afraid as with anything related we're looking @ years if not decades of this bs.

U have a lot to learn my friend. I play on my own br, I've never been backed or colluded. However I do use p2p transfers due to the circumstances in which the country I live in require and are well within the merge TOS. As do many others and we're all hurting more due to the recent developments.

Any info on how this affects rakeback, I read an article about the whole transfer stoppage and it led me to think rakeback is now also a thing of the past. I've heard skin to player transfers are also stopping so I'm assuming that includes rakeback, any info'

Final GOP Platform Calls for Internet Gambling Prohibition
Lobbying has been going on on both sides from what I've heard for a while now, if that's all that was needed to get it regulated shouldn't that have already happened or be pretty damn close' What's the holdup if it's only $' I'm afraid there's too many people involved and being given influence (ie tribal interests and tiny right wing radicalists) and its a complex scenario all around.

GOP should just fold pre & not even waste the time, $ & embarrassment of how badly they're gonna lose the election. I'm no Obama fan, but with this and all their other domineering viewpoints, picking a Mormon to run lol, I don't see the gop getting much more than 40% vote.

I'm a bit paranoid, but depending the stakes & cashout system you have available I'd keep less than that. I only keep enough for a couple bad sessions, & pull it off when it doubles or a little more. Frequent wds, occasional reloads if needed. I play sngs tho, no mtts for me anymore

Merge Update, new HEM problem
Ya +1. It wasn't working entirely correct before, I think it got most all of the hands but it wasn't getting the buy ins right so it threw off a lot more, now all it is is a HUD & hh saver. I guess we will have to hope for a hem1 update..

Lol that's good for the overall network economy & traffic. I also read today they're dropping bbj cash games "for overall economy of the network" after it hits next. I don't do mtts online anymore, just lotsa sngs. What kinda traffic y'all gettin in the mtts, I do see the pop ups for overlays all day long..' Sngs seem to be slowing down, but they have been slowly dying since bf anyway unfortunately. IMO if they ran the network better (not to mention the rng lol) they'd generate and retain more traffic no'

Much progression since Black Friday or not?
I'm pretty disappointed in California's lack of ability to come to agreement. Too many competing interests between the card rooms, Indians tribes & race tracks. Too much lobbying taking place, and it's the same thing going on at the fed level on a smaller scale.

Graph is legit I just checked it. It's on microgaming, something I know nothing about. It's for 1130 games @ 67.1 roi. Watch dude for another 500-1k games & if he doesn't run horribad he's gotta be on to something or cheating the games.
