WSOP ME satelittes on Pokerstars
Not being able to advertise at WSOP probably has a big effect. Being limited a small patch size on a limited number of players doesn't let them have as a big a presence. They probably don't see much extra value in running sattelites if they can't crow that it was them who sent them there.

Changes to OPR for Pokerstars players
Sharkscope have required you to opt in or Stars data for sat least 2 years now already It will still be good for getting an idea of how much volume someone is putting in or how much experience they have if you don't have HUD. Not useless, just a different use. OPR get their feed straight from Pokerstars (like P5s get the rankings info. If they don't comply with what Stars want then Stars will stop sending info. Easy game.

Where exactly is Stars at fault here' They are allowing him to change a screen name for what they determine an acceptable reason, whilst warning this will not be allowed again and have facilitated th name change. The fact that he happened to choose a name that was already in use (and apparently shut due to its owner passing away) does not put any fault on Stars at all. Bold is QFMFT!!! Would you like me to wipe your ass for you too OP' If you can sort this you obviously don't have the neccesary brain power to be allowed to control your own finances.

Pokerstars Purchases FTP???
That should happen before start of WSOP, but the whole deal being complete and players paid back if it is on won't be done for a few months, even is Stars announced today that it was on. IMO

Perhaps average PLB score for a month/year/other period' Only problem is that one off big scores will then be automatically on top. How about average PLB over a minimum number of games per month and even if you don't play that many the score will still be divided by the min. Its not as if anyone would stop plying in a particular month to stay on top, they'd be losing value. EDIT: What would be a fair number to set as a minimum number of games for a month to qualify for PLB ranking'

The licensing agency/association won't take any of the original FTPs issues into account because its a new company. Paying USA players will also no be on the new version of FTPs shoulders. It will be DOJ or another US agency. Any deal to allow the new FTP to start providing games again would have included a clause that state if they don't get the license the deal is off. You can be pretty sure that if the new FTP didn't honor its side by paying back the original balances they'll get shut down too if that's what the deal states, but until full details are announced its all just speculation

Email the site, don't post a question where players who don't know will give speculative answers. Different sites have different approaches to this. For the most part it should be OK with a few ground rules in place. There are lots of "poker houses" around where players play on the same site at the same time.

IMO the only way to address these would be process them as if the player is still in USA (because the USA and ROW players are apparently to be paid from 2 separate pools - DOJ for USA and GBT for ROW) From there if the relocated USA player wanted to re deposit they could do so at their leisure just like a new player.
