Because I win with a Jack High....
Baabadadda... Its only a dollar game, but still a sick call. I called because I truly felt he was on complete air. His river bet left himself like 160 chips behind, just felt like my Jack was good. Re(3): Poker Road Radio with Isaac Haxton
Basically Sebok had 22BB with KK in EP. He makes a standard raise pre, Haxton shoves with AT and looses. Very next hand Sebok opens with 99 and Haxton shoves again, Sebok thinks and calls, Haxton shows KJ or KQ (cant remember), either way he spikes one of his overcards and gets his chips back. Like I said, I never disagreed with Haxton's play, nor am I defending Seboks reaction on his show after the tourney. However, Sebok apologized many many times and Haxton cant seem to let it go.

Re(4): Poker Road Radio with Isaac Haxton
I understand his logic and the history. I see where he was coming from in his play, and I also enjoyed hearing his side of the story, that was great. Additionally, I was listening to every show involving "Haxtongate" last summer. Joe insulted the guy on his show, that was a shitty thing to do, and to his credit he apologized for that on multiple occasions. And I do remember them having Kenny Tran on the show during the controversy and he was just adding flames to the fire. That being said, of course Haxton had a reason to be pissed about the situation. But christ the shit happened 7 months ...

Re(2): Poker Road Radio with Isaac Haxton
I dont argue with his logic, I just think the way he handled the interview (which was, I believe, intended to officially just clear the record and clean the slate between the two) was ultra douchey. He could have gotten the same point across in a much more tactful way, then I think he would have truly pwnd Sebok.

Poker Road Radio with Isaac Haxton
That Haxton was giving a terrific interview until they get to the World Series drama about last year and he turns into super-douche. Sebok apologized multiple times last year and on the show yesterday. Whether you agree with his play in the specific tourny or not, why not just let little shit like that go' You really just solidify your douchieness by being a bitch about the situation IMO.

Pricey buffet, toonnnnnsss off fishies in the card room tho. I know tho run a $1/$2 NL and like a 2/5 or 3/6 PL game alot of times too. Its fun for a while, dealers are good, card room staff is nice. The rack sucks is like $6 a half hour if I remember correctly. Best card room in the Detriot area in my opinion to.

Re(1): Do you ever burn out and take a break??
in the midst of one now. i too play small stakes, but i just havent been in the mood to play since the last time i deposited. partially due to the fact that I have no BR mngmnt and tilt easily and partcially due to the fact that i just don't think i am good enough to be profitiable at poker nor do i have the drive or motivation to become profitable. either way, i am still a fan of the game, and will likely continue to play live and online again in the future, if for no other reason than to kill time.

seems like an interesting point to me. ppl seem to forget that BarryG has been dominating the game longer than most of us posters have been alive. i think he is very aware that there are many many ultra talented online players out there, he is just giving his two cents on what he has noticed in playing with them. whats wrong with that'

Re(1): Opening pots then folding = Spewing?
I play a similar style, rarely limping, always raising etc... For the first question I think it really depeneds on your stack size and the size of the ppl you are raising in to. If you have 15-20+ BB I would do a standard 2.5-3X BB raise and let it go if re-raised if you don't like your hand or your odds. Obviously you won't want to be raising into the BB if he has less than 10BB unless you plan on calling a shove. Just try to keep your raises in a later position and if the ppl to your left tend to call the blind alot take advantage of it, they will either pay you off or fold, those types ...

Re(1): Underage players
I feel really bad for Andy on this one. He is whatever age he is, but he's a dominant player, NOT from the US (so it really shouldnt effect you whole legal ascept), and just kindof got thrown in the middle of this BS for no reason. If he doesnt get to play on a major online site for a few years because of this issue it would be a real dissapointment. Everyone knew Annette was 15 when she started, didn't hear anyone bitching then.

which one of us was the idiot.
I know you guys won't shy away to calling me one, so if I horribly misplayed this hand please let me know. Its a micro-donkament and the enemy has been raising alot in position, he also showed two bluffs. I give him a raising range of almost ATC. I am playing pretty TAG, but in these donkaments that means nothing to the other players because they really don't pay attention to anyone but themselves. Any advice is appreciated. Re(3): Starting a new bankroll on a new site need advice please.
I tried BugsyClub this weekend actually. I didn't deposit but play of few of there freeroll tournies to get a feel for the software (not the best). What I did like is that it was so small that all of the players knew one another from the forums on the site. They also treated the freerolls like a league ( guess you get points that you can add towards prizepool tournies) so people were actually playing halfway decent for a freeroll. And you got 10K starting chips, that was cool. Not the best software, but nice environment, I might deposit there later just to get a feel for the SNG's. edit: but ...
