welp..here we go.
"Spontaneous Benefactor" undertitle added - nice to hear from you again Chris, been a while! Took me two hours last night to read this thread from start to finish. It's all entertaining, but the first 10 pages or so were awesome. GL in AC OP - bring back the magic of the first ten pages (with winning results, of course).

I see good players in daily fantasy use this tactic quite a bit - GeneralV does it a lot in NFL games. They spend time putting together their best lineup, and instead of spending more time putting together slightly less good lineups they just enter the same one multiple times. They save time and get more prize exposure for their top lineup. Personally, I'm never confident enough in a single lineup and I like to sweat multiple teams so I never do this, but I think it's a good idea for some.

I was clinging to 4th until Cano and BigBlue's 10 teams flung me into oblivion. This was a really fun tourney to sweat. I love how ballsy Taylor and Andrew are with these guaranteed prize pools. My description of the finish from my RotoGrinders sweat thread: Awesome finish to this tournament. BigBlue entered the bottom of the 8th inning in 2nd through 11th place. Where'd Poker Refugees go?
Adam pinned a post about the transition a while back but we took it down recently to make room for the P5s Open pinned posts. P5s was helping Kristin get off the ground by giving Refugees a lot of exposure, but that is no longer needed. She's rolling along and will be advertising with a lot of different poker media sites soon. Refugees will still be advertising here on P5s - I think we're just waiting for new ads to be created.

Hey guys, we apologize for the rough site performance at times. We've definitely been working on solving the performance issues, but we've been trying to solve these problems while building out other features. It looks like we are going to go all hands on deck on the servers to properly address performance. We just had a quick meeting with our head developer, who will soon begin focusing entirely on performance. Good idea, we added this to our list. The page will have three columns - date the user became #1, date they lost the #1 ranking, and the number of weeks they held #1. Anything else we should add to this page' I like the "Former #1" Badge as well.

Live Tournament series for Pocket Fives members
This would be awesome, although its a bit of a longshot. Does anyone have any connections at Vegas casinos' The only way we could reasonably pull this off is if we were matched with a partner who has ran a tournament series before but would be open to branding the tournament series to P5s. Then we would put the weight of the community behind it to try to get as many people as possible to attend. Nightly Vegas social events would obv be a part of the experience.

Brag Post: I made a perfect site for this thread. The content is all crowd sourced and the traffic all comes organically through Google. That's the list of football names, with the default ranking set to the last month. Click on "all time" to see some more good ones. "LOCKOUTwithmyCockout," which is awesome, is currently in first place for this season, but I'm partial to "Amendola Dola Bills, Ya'll" at #4.

You may have missed our statement on US facing sites, here's the link: / It's high risk to play on these sites in the wake of Black Friday, we don't recommend it. The good news is that US poker regulation has a lot of momentum right now. It may only be 1-2 years before we have options that are safe.

I dunno Dan, I've seen how this plays out before on other sites. That number's growth will slow down a lot tomorrow. With it already being at 1300, though, I do think you have a decent edge.

We started off Wednesday with 777 Facebook likes and are on a campaign to increase that number. We worked out a deal with Ace Poker Software to give away free software in a random drawing from the list of people who have liked us on Facebook. We sent out a mailer, put the "Facebook Social Plug In" at the top right of the home page, and posted a front page article. We've added 300 likes and the number is quickly growing. We've fired most of our chambers, though, so I think the wave of new likes will slow soon. Dan set the over/under of total new Likes by Tuesday at 12:15 CT to 1800. ...
