Re:building a bankroll..... As far a bankroll management goes, read Fox's article on bankroll management. Its in the archives here somewhere and its really the best I've seen. I incorporate a lot of those ideas into my broll management spreadsheet. If you deposit $100 on stars the only reliable way to grow out your roll is put in a lot of volume at low stakes. Sure you may get lucky with a big tourny score but its not safe if u don't want to redeposit. As a Live player you may not be that comfortable with the idea that it really takes a hugeee amount of volume at the micro levels to build your roll. If you ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Rakeback on sites that you joined before rakeback started? Yea they denied me too. They also said they make no exceptions to this.. obv nonsense.. sucks that they give poor treatment to loyal customers and give gifts to new players Posted in: Poker Sites |

Re:Is it even worth it to try to get better at cash games? There are a ton of resources out there to improve your play. If you want to get better at cash games give a site like cardrunners a try. I'm not sure what limits you play but there are some really solid low stakes series on there. However, repeating what was said above, if you don't like cash games and prefer mtts; play mtts! You will learn way more doing something you love than doing something you aren't enjoying. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:OPINION: what is the best way to put a $250 bankroll to work. i agree the 4.40s are playing very soft. what about cash games' i've been crushing the 10nl @ 20BB/100 threw the 10k sample i have. what kind of swings are expecting @ 25nl assuming a solid 5-10BB/100 win rate Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:What to play to maximize a 3k roll? Hey bud good that your concerned. I blew my 5k "irreplaceable" roll this summer playing games that i really had no business in. Basically I can tell you what not to do.. haha; naw naw i learned from my mistakes. With 3k you can play in some solid mtts. I see u want to stay away from the big fields but you are rolled for like the $5.5r and 8.8r which both has a lot of value. Obviously ur way over rolled for $20nl. You have 60BIs @ 50NL so thats definitely a safe play if you can't lose your roll. If your getting a 3BB/100 + rate you really aren't going to swing much and 30-40 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

OPINION: what is the best way to put a $250 bankroll to work. For a player trying to build a bankroll from a small start (i.e. 250-300$ online) what are some opinions on the best way to grow it out. I have some favoritism to 10NL 6max/ $4.40, 180mans on pstars and maybe taking some shots in the like daily 30k ($11) or whatever.. Lets hear some ideas -bc Posted in: Poker Discussion |
