Re:Becoming a midstakes grinder across multiple sites...not as easy as it seems i started building a roll at FTP and started with $75, playin $1-$5 mtts, and got upto around $200, and played the $3 rebuy, only using 1 rebuy and 1 addon if i played it, final tabled it for 3rd for $1500 then started playing mtts making sure my avg buyin is around $15-$17, 100 buyins is good enough for mtts i feel so i keep that as my goal and when i hit $2500 ill move upto $24-$28 buyin range, and so on.... Re:I am done with Full Tilt its their software problem, im pretty sure they are aware of it....i have done it on 3 computers and it isn't work on either of them....adding in the Adobe Hand Replayer may have made it so laggish, and it aint working so well i did it on XP Home, Windows Vista, and windows 2000 (on old and new comps) i am a comp nerd so i had to test everything the best was Vista i got 2 hands in before it didn't respond any longer... gg FTP Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:cash game implied odds questions??? yeah what i was trying to get at is implied odds in a cash game is pointless, just play if you have the best hand you win easy enough, you ain't turning that $100 into $1000 unless you have $500 infront of you and get called all in and win.... i just dont understand why these guys think they know so much about the game i went on sick streak of being up a couple thousand, just hit a bad streak of losing 3 nights in a row...only down 500ish though.... they just play so bad and act like they know so much Posted in: Poker Discussion |

cash game implied odds questions??? i play in a weekly cash game, 3 days week and there is a few guys that always talk about implied odds, like i a guy has 140 in chips infront of them and they raise to $25 it is a 2-5 NL game...they say they won't call with AK or 55 because their implied odds is they are only gonna win another $100, but if he had $300 infront of him they would call... regardless of how much the person has behind rather $100 or $1000, the most you will ever win in a hand if you have the best hand and get paid off is the money infront of you....so if he has $140 and you have $140 you will double your ... FTP won't give my friend any info for his acct! i have a friend who had a name about 3 years ago, it was set up with his bank account that was a joint one with his wife, they recently got a divorce about 1 year ago, and so she closed everything down with the bank account, including his poker name, the email addy (trhough roadrunner of maine) basically she kept the house and changed everything out of his name, so he made a new name on FTP so he could play, and because him and his father have the same name, and 2 different accounts - they froze both accounts, they send in ID's, they re-open the fathers account, but not the sons account ...
