Re:deep into the money help...
thanks guys makes sence after i reviewed it when i calmed down i figured i should have folded to his raise cause if he was bluffing i think he would have pushed instead and not leave himself so short stacked with that kinda raise, i know i played it wrong from the get go but these big lay downs i still something i have a problem with.

Re(1): What's your 9 player S&G strategy?
play tight early see a few flops in position but for the most part tight find the super lose donkeys and wait for them to pay you off with you big hands. when the blinds get to about 50-100,75-150 there are usally about 5-6 left open up your game pick on the mid stacks if your avg. if your a large stack pick on everyone but the shorty, if your the short try to pick a hand and spot to get your money in if your really short if not just try to keep pace with the other shorty untill you pick up a hand. most of my bustouts are in 5th when i'm stack building i'm far from and expert i only play the ...

Re(1): How much to raise with KK in low buy in SNGs
in any low lvl sng's $10 and down i play AA, KK, AK all in you'll be called by all kinds of crap if you get sucked out on oh well move on. in the higher buyin games you have to play poker but in the micros just push you big hands let the cards fly and the donkeys will build your stack for you. if you kings are beat by a4o don't get mad you'll win 70% of the time do it 10 games in a row the ace rag with build you to 3k chips 7 of those 10 times. good luck and always remember KJ and up are the preflop nuts in the micros

Re(2): after the bubble breaks HELP!!!
orioles you make a good point i never looked at the game like that opened up a whole new window thanks alot. but alot of you guys are talking about bubble play my bubble play i feel has come leaps and bounds i have no problem busting in 31st outta 30 paying. from alot i read and here you should be looking to get your money in with 2-3 tables left to try and make a strong run for the FT but in alot of these stars tournies when 90+ pay right after the bubble people go ape shit with there calls and pushes and if i run card dead you just can;t steal with crap cause you will get looked up with ...

bodog 5k guaranteed...need to vent
10 players left 9 to ft i'm sitting around 72k big stack at the table 86k raises it to 12k i reraise it to 32k he pushes i call turns over AQd to my KK i hit trips on the flop with one diamond then BAMMM runner runner diamonds and i bust in 10th place out of 500+ players. i'm not lieing down KK's in the face of the big stack not happy about the suck out i myself made at least one in the tourny to get to where i was but if i would have takin that pot i would have been at 144k and a monster chip leader. sigh my time will come this is my 5th top 18 with 3 fts and 1 win($4-180 sng) i can taste ...

Re(1): How do you get "over the hump"........
i myself just started getting the feel for getting over the hump i play mainly the $4 180 man sngs with anything from $3r to $20 mtts tossed in there i was always afraid of busting on the bubble felt that i played well 2+hours i have to at least cash then after countless readings and talking to people that one win covers about 50-75 just folding into the moneys. there are many things to help you get deep and you will learn them all if you put your mind to it but one of the first i would start trying is the resteal. pay attention to the table find the players who can fold to a reraise (alot ...

180 man SNG win & 13th in FTP 5.50
back to back tournys took first in the 4.40 180 man for 216 then finished 13th in a full tilt 5.50 tourny taking only 28 but i feel really good abot the way i been playing last few days. after a string of really bad luck. in the 180 man i only once had my money in the middle as an underdog and that was the last hand of the tourny which i sucked out on and in the 5.50 w/ 776 players i got my money in with the floped nut stright and the table chipleader sucked out hiting a full house on the river after calling off 45 percent of his stack with 2 pair anyway just wanna thank all here who helped ...

Re(1): MTT hand Q - ABC stuff but help appreciated.
this has nothing to do with the hand but what was the buy-in i learned the hard way that many times in the low buy-ins 5-30 dollar your not getting someone to fold TPTK on any board no matter what your representing and what the stack sizes are. good players smell the coin flip and can walk away for it and make the chips up else where. avg. players take the chance and say they got unlucky if you catch even if there a big not to big stack and can be hurt bad by the call. just my 2cents as this must happen to be once a night.

ITM was this a good move?
34 left 5.50 MTT on full tilt avg. stack about 20k i have 34k blinds 500/1000 ante 100 or 150 i forget i have 9h 10c in the BB big stack at my table makes it 3x to go in the cutoff +1 i call flop come J Q A all clubs i check he bets 5k i push. i felt hes only calling with the Kc trips maybe two pair. then i forget its a five buck tournament and he calls with AKd on a board that can cripple him. anyway i don't improve and im out in 33rd. Should i have waited for a better spot to go for the win'i felt i made the right play

ya i''ve done it before also lol but i usally don't play any over 20 dollars excpt the 100k sunday but i pay for that with tourny credit from 1-5 dollar sats. i make most of my money from 5-10 sng's as for higher mtts my rule is for ever 50 dollars i make in any mtt i put 10 dollars aside till i have over 100 dollars and i use that to play a few highest priced mtts 30-40 dollar ones. the 50 dollar 25k tourny i can play in with tourny credits. keeps my head from swelling if i cash a few times :) i don't know what size bankroll i will feel comfortable with before i raise my standards and get ...

my first bubble bust
i finaly said i'm taking a bubble stand and last night in a 10 dollar mtt i play in everyday on bodog 18 get paided i bust in 19th. at around 25 people i start raising and restealing when i felt i can move at the pot instead of bliding away just to win a small amount of chump change. i'm pissed i got knocked out but i acully feel good about the way i played my last hand was me in the cutoff +1 with AQs i make the raise 3x BB button comes over the top for a mini raise he's done this before and folded to a nice size bet on the flop i call. flop comes Q 3 10 rainbow i bet half the pot he calls ...
