Re:Range Rover owners?
Our dealership will flatbed a loaner to you as far away as 100 miles, flatbed your vehicle back for service, and then reverse the same. Will your VW audi dealer do that'

Re:Range Rover owners?
Sowers, I work as a mgr. in a multi line dealership, that has Land Rover. The thing will do stuff that no other car can touch. The labor and parts for maintenance is very high, but you will get the Bellagio treatment every time you have something done. Loaner cars for oil changes, free pickup and delivery for service. Free cleanups evrytime it is there. Gourmet coffee in the showroom. Special tracks(as mentioned) for test drives and demos(they won't let you drive, tho). 380 degree cameras outside the vehicle(available). LED readout dash and instrument panels. You name it, they will do ...

Re:would you take action or just let it slide?
The best thing about not owning your route......................you can look for a better company to work for, with a better contract.

Re:would you take action or just let it slide?
I see. You are a vendor, of sorts. You should re-negotiate your contract, to either an hourly plus a smaller commission, or, to a slightly smaller commision with no charge backs for recalls. Just food for thought.

Re:would you take action or just let it slide?
Lots of losers in this scenario. The store only gets back what it paid....loses labor, advertising, shelf space(manufacturers pay for prime shelf space), and return on investment(remember, they paid up front, and prob keep the product the longest. The distributor loses the profits it made, the labor it paid, advertising, and the return on it's investment. Doesnt seem fair, but you actually only lose your labor. If you want to sue, sue the company that recalled the product. They should be the ones who pay, since they are the ones that screwed up.

Re:Gimbel Underage
I'd like to here the PPA staff comment on this. If the poker hating politicians could copy this thread, and link the comments for allowing underage play to PPA members, it, IMO, could hurt our cause in the U.S. FWIW

Used to be decent, then seemed like I couldn't win. Re-read Scott Fischman's Online Pro book, and it doesn't matter if you are a beginner, or a pro.....if you don't deviate, it works.

PStars double dipping deposits??
Just had the same PStars deposit get debited from my checking account 2 days running. Contacted the site and this was their response: Thank you for your email. We are aware that some transactions processed on November 21st and 22nd have been double charged. First, let me apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. Note that we are already working with the processor to reverse those transactions, so that they can be credited back to your bank account as soon as possible. Also, if you have been charged overdraft fees for this issue with your bank, please allow a few days for ...

Better hope one of your cards doesn't get too close to the muck at the wrong time.....Anyone that agrees with what the OP is doing, doesn't play alot of live poker, and if they were in a game I was dealing, the house would get an extra rake chip everytime I thought he was going to take a hand down. Karma, baby.

Re:Don't laugh.........advice wanted!
You don't specify what kind of cash games you are playing. NL, limit, full table, six handed' I play fixed limit, when not playing NLHE sngs, and multi tourneys. I play the full tables like the beginning of a sng. Tight, and aggressive. I play the six man games like the bubble, pushing any unraised hand that has a little light to it. I still go on tilt, occassionally, but seems to work for me.

Re:Fraudulent Pokerstars check
Being straight up with him was not good. First off, either they honor the check and try to process it, or they don't. It is none of their business where you got it from. Now, they are probably required by law, to report the accounts, including yours, to the banking commission. You best get you another account, at a different bank. And since they are linked to your SS#, your prob screwed, cause they are gonna watch your accounts, too. Your best options for cashouts now, is to trade your stars money to friends, for cash. I can't believe you told the guy where it came from.

Re:I need echeck info from players @ pokerstars
I don't think they can bounce those, or at least haven't heard of one bouncing. Did both because of limits on echeck, but I'll never do another paper check.

Re:I'm f--king sick of Stars
I have been very patient. I have had a $4k check bounce and no return of my money since the 15th. I also have a $2500 echeck that has been in limbo since the 3rd. I haven't spammed support, and always wait for their slowass responses before emailing back. I know that a Gold Star customer, relative of mine, got alot faster service, and has actually gotten his money for 2 bounced checks. The service sucks. If they would just return my money to my PS account, at least I could try and sell it to friends for cash. The only ones that aren't upset, don't need the money like me, or ...

Losing my patience with PS.........a little long, but have to tell it.
The folowing are emails I have received from PokerStars over the last several days. They never respond more than once a day, and my initial responses were 2-3 days apart. Unfortunately I deleted the first few emails, thinking that they would at least put my money back in my account soon, and give me other options. This is big money to me, and prob to most players, it would be. A paper check that bounced, and an echeck withdrawal, for $6450 total, and it has been out of my account since June 3rd. Just had to vent. Here goes: #1 Thank you for your email. We have received your email and I ...

REPLACEMENT CHECKS FROM STARS NO GOOD, EITHER
After this response from my original request, they sent me a replacent check. It has come to our attention that on 2009/06/06 you made a $3,975.00 deposit request through Cheque Cancelled (transaction 250890076) which was reported incorrectly. Your deposit request was listed as approved in your PokerStars account, but we have found that this deposit request was declined by the processor. This means that $3,975.00 was credited to your PokerStars account but was not debited from your Cheque Cancelled account. $3,975.00 has now been debited from your PokerStars account balance. We are very ...

Re:WTF is up with Poker Stars customer service, deposit issues, tournament whackiness etc.
Been waiting for deposit to clear for 5 hours. First one was cancelled after 4 hours, and several emails. I have requested a phone call, as they suggest, 3 times, with no response. Never waited more than 30 seconds for deposits in the past. Bullshit. I hope the overlays kill 'em today.

Re:Tell embarrassing stories about being a beginner.
This was embarrassing. I played live in Vegas for the first time in 1997, at the Bellagio. After good success in home games and a winning session at the $4-8 level, I went to play in the $20-40 limit game. The gentleman to my left asked "Do you chop'". I had seen the players ask this at the previous table when it was folded to the sb, so I answered, sure. The first 2 times it was folded to me, I looked at bad hands, and when it was my turn I mucked, and the guy mucked his hands and the dealer pushed me my chips back. On the third time this happened, I looked down at KK, and I ...
