Re:email hacked, is it a problem
Thanks man, I do take every security precaution available. Basically if you hacked in to my account anywhere, all that you could do would be to waste my money, you couldn't actually get it yourself without being traced. This seems to be more of a random thing than an attempt to get in to my poker accts. Mainly just wanted to check on here to see if this sounded familiar to anyone who had been hacked on ftp etc.

Re:email hacked, is it a problem
is AIM automatically related to just using an AOL account' I've never used AIM or installed it on my computer. It is a possiblity that I have used it in the past on other computers as I have had this particular AOL account for 7-8 years and IM'd a little with a girl that moved out of town but it has been at least 6 years and 3 computers ago.

email hacked, is it a problem
So my aol account got hacked. It appears that someone got in to my contacts list and sent out a bunch of emails that had an attachment that the receiver couldn't open. Obv I have changed my passwords and created a new email for poker sites...etc. Any suggestions on what more to do' And more importantly, does this sound familiar to anyone who's poker account got hacked'
