Jeep, You certainly have enough of a roll to take a shot, but to consistantly play the $1k steps you should probably have another $5k+ in your roll. Why not play the $200+15s or even the $400+30s before you move up to the $1ks' That way you will have a better feel of how the play will be in the Step 5s along with steadily increasing your roll size.
