I just returned from the bar and have had about 8 drinks, I had been firing up the 2-5nl game and just lost 2 pots back to back when I get dealt AA, so I steam raise. When I see an over raise like this pre flop in tournies it's usually something like AJ, K10, or 88. Not sure what it means in cash games, but if he is doing this frequently especially in a .10-.25 game re-pop him all day long!

Will the down swing ever end!!!!!!!?????
It's been 2 weeks straight and the impossible happens every single hand I play, day after day!!!! I've been playing 5+ years and this is the worst down swing I have ever experienced. And it's all from bullshit hands in cash games and tournies when all the $$$ is on the line, when my opponent should never be in the hand to begin with. Like calling 50+ bb cold with 34s deep in a $10 rebuy and the flop is bam--- 334!!! WTF, who does that' Then the next tourny calling me all in cold with K9s and bam--- the flop is KK9!!! I keep making it deep in a ton of tournies and finish anywhere from 10th -30th over and over again!!! I think my end game may need some work. Can anyone point me in the right direction for info on shoving ranges with 10-20 bb stacks'

I'd get stacked everytime, there are just way too many donks in these tournies. I've seen them get all in for huggeeee amounts with far far less than top set. Long term you will profit in this spot.

I got the same email too, but Stars responded to the problem immediately!!! Unlike FTP. Customer service is #1 at Stars and I'm sure they will correct the problem ASAP.

I am trying it out. A few things you should know about it: - first you must request your withdrawal from FTP, which takes approx. 10 business days to receive in your UPP account. - before making a withdrawal from UPP you must have your account active for 14 days. (so set up your account today if you have any intention of using this service) - after requesting a withdrawal from UPP it takes 10-15 business days to receive payment in your bank account. This whole process has been very time consuming for me, but if all goes well I should receive payment by Sept. 11th. I will keep you updated.

When I first started playing I had absolutely no support from anybody in my family, especially my mom. Five years later my results are all she needs and she is now very supportive. Prove yourself by consitatnly making more $$$ than she does and she might change her mind.
