Re:s00tedj0kers is 4/6 in FTOPS #1, show some final table love! EDIT: SHIPPED WITH THE BEST DEAL IN THE HISTORY OF CHOPS! This is a perfect example of why the majority of people in "the real world" think that online poker is shaddy and not a legit business. Yes, the people that clicked the agree button without double checking are stupid and made a mistake. Can't argue that, but that is beside the point. Just because he got away with it doesn't make it right! If online poker players want to be taken seriously as professionals then this kind of sh*t has to stop. It is the exact same thing as a politician pocketing money while no one is looking. The community shouldn't look at this and say ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Tipping During Live Cash [i return on p.7] (please read entire OP before responding) You keep saying that by not tipping it is saving you a lot of money while only taking a little from each dealer. Do you not realize that if every player had this mentality there would be no poker dealers and you would be out of a job' Or is it somehow okay for you to just let everyone else take care of it because you "need" it more. People that don't tip (read: you) are peices of sh*t. If you don't want to tip, you don't have to and thats your own business, but don't expect the majority of poker players, dealers, decent people, etc. to agree or empathize with you. ... Re:Weird spot in 20 cubed.... Because its still really early and with the cubed format you have a large enough stack that pushing a marginal edge isn't necessary imo. While you may be ahead here and the call may be slightly +ev (this is even debatable) the extra chips of the cubed give you plenty of time to find a spot that is clearly profitable. Or I'm way off and you should push every edge no matter now slim it may be. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Weird spot in 20 cubed.... I definately think you're ahead more often than not here but its pretty close. That being said, with only 300 invested I'd just let it go and look for a better spot. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:retarded spot vs mendieta19 I like a shove here. I think folding is just too nity as you're ahead of his 3bet range.. if you 4bet it looks so strong hes gonna fold everything you beat, shoving looks weaker than a 4 bet which would get you a call out of JJ or AK. Weird spot though. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Save a penguin's life and give me a line check please.... Have to call here. Is he really shoving AA/KK in a 5.50' Doubtful. I would put a range on 10s+, AQ+, and some wacky squeezing hands that you also have beat which makes this a very easy call. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:1K Monday interesting spot...What would you do... I'd prolly just flat.. I think the only thing that pays your off that you beat is the straight and I really don't see A10 flatting out of the BB. Meanwhile KJ, QJ, KK are all in his range imo. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Live hand question 675 buy in tourney: hour levels, 2nd level Effective stacks: ~7500 Table is very weak tight so far with lots of limping/calling aside from two players. The guy 2 to my left has been very active, borderline spewy but seemed to know what he was doing and another guy was also active but isnt in this hand. On the button with AKo blinds 50/100 Preflop: MP1 raises to 250, 2 callers, I reraise to 1050 (questionable this early), the big blind (the one i talked about earlier) calls, all others fold. Flop: Jd 10s Jc BB checks, I check. Turn: Qd BB checks, I lead 1400, BB snap raises to 4k ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:I played this pretty bad - 2nd chance final table, wwyd?? If you don't feel comfortable playing the hand post flop then 3bet/call really is your only option. 3bet/fold turns 88 (a really strong starting hand short handed) into a bluff which you don't want to do and you have way too many chips to just jam. If you are really concerned with moving up in the money (nothing wrong with this as its a big step for each spot you move up) then just open fold and wait for a hand you are more comfortable playing (very nity obv). That being said I agree w/ those that say flat is the best play here, and for several reasons. 1. you are getting something ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
