Re:Rush 25nl WWYD facing overbet shove on flop?
This is a snap fold. Doesn't even matter what his range is here, you only beat a bluff and there's no value in calling because there's hardly any money in the pot.

Re:Fold QQ preflop? (cashgame)
Don't 4 bet if you're intent is to fold (or even consider a fold) to a 5b shove. If your intent is to 4b/fold then you're much better off flatting the 3b and taking a flop. Being the fact that this is button vs blind, and you have QQ I'm 4b/snap calling the shove here. Also, make your 4b sizing about $5.50 - $5.75.

Re:mtt profit expectation for 8-10 MTTs per day 10-75 buy in
I was playing on a $5k BR, I was playing $55 and below for freezeouts (with an occasional $75 MTT) and $11r and below for rebuys. I had decent results (posted below). You'll experience longggggggg dry spells and variance sucks, but if you stick to it its very profitable. Time Period: 8-17-2008 to 10-24-2008 Total buy ins: $11,640.30 Total Cashes: $16,268.71 Total # of tourneys played: 407 Avg buy in: $28.60 Profit/Loss: +$4,628.41 - edit, I was playing 6-10 tourneys a day, buy ins ranging from $11-$55

Re:Full Tilt Support... *sigh*
I was thinking of getting a 24' monitor in the near future, I may reconsider that as I could get it from best buy with less issues. Hope you get it worked out!

Ya man, shove pre obv. You don't wanna try to play post flop short like that, just ship and gl KQ calls a pre flop shove too, and any pair 77+ calls

Re:Thoughts on being a backer...
Ya I mean if you trust the guy then theres nothing wrong with just putting him on a heeb. $1500-$2500 and say play $26 and below. I very much recommend you have him keep track of tourney ID's and such for record keeping tho. I currently run a $6k heeb on a 3% buy in rule, you could do something similar with him (on a smaller scale). If you send him start him with a $2k heeb following a 2%-3% max buy in rule, then that will make him drop down to $10 buy ins if the bankroll starts to get low, it will also allow him to move up should he hit a nice score. For example say he ships the 16k for ...

Re:Thoughts on being a backer...
Agree completely, if you have a good horse or 2 then staking can also be a way to stabilize your bankroll with your own play. For example you may be down $2k one week, but that same week your horse could ship the 32k gtd and ship you $3500, so it could help reduce the normal variance that you experience ect.

Re:Thoughts on being a backer...
I actually personally like shipping the player enough for a few days to save myself the hassle of shipping again tomorrow. Of course I only recommend this if you trust the player already. If you have a proven winning player and you trust him then you could send him say 10 buy ins for $26 MTT's and say play 10 and we will re evaluate. Then you can go from there. Have him keep track of the following info for you.... Tourney ID, Finish Pos, money won, and last hand for each tourney. Then ask him to email that to you. That will be a way for you to verify and keep for your records throughout ...

Re:Phil Hellmuth would be a losing player in...
I'm gonna state my opinion on something right quick. Even the best players both online and live, play a hand here and there bad, maybe even horrible. We all go through moments where we may be slightly off our game and/or do something boneheaded. When Phil does it, it gets broadcast to the whole world. When a online pro does it, its "oops hope no one saw that". Bottom line is Phil is in the public eye all the time and when he does make a bad play or has a bad moment then everyone see's it, but no one really mentions all the times he flat out owns someone. I personally think ...
