Lock Poker purchase of the Cake Poker Network I always assumed a large player base meant more fish, but maybe not. Micro cash on cake is certainly soft, but most of my tables at 20nl typically have ~4 regs per table including myself and never more than 10 tables running at a time. If Lock taking over means I have to battle a couple of more regs to get a check in a couple of weeks rather than a couple of months, I'll welcome it whole heartedly. Official Week 7 FFB Trade/Sit/Start Advice Every thing I've read is that Portis is supposed to be back by Week 10. I def. agree with you that Shannahan RB's are usually gonna be good regardless of name or overall talent level. My only issue is that I'm gambling over whether or not Portis is gonna come back, and whether or not he's gonna still have the starting job once he does. I've always played in non-ppr leagues, and thus I'm always huge on RBs but not on back up RBs. My other current RB's are Gore and Foster and I have them both handcuffed, so I feel pretty good even if I was to trade away my depth in Torain. I'm still on the ... Consolidated FFB Help/Strategy Thread Spiller as 2nd RB might be a stretch, but its not that big of a deal. I've had Evans the past 2 seasons and he's pretty middle of line when it comes to WR for pretty obv QB/O-line issues in Buffalo. It's hard to get a stud 3rd WR, though, so I think he'll fit. I usually don't have a back up QB if I have a top 4 or 5 guy, and you do. So just waiver somebody on your bye week and hope he does ok. Crabtree is a gamble WR in my opinion. SF's air game is really such a toss up at this point that he's really going to make or break your season. If you're going to drop somebody, don't drop Burleson. ... Consolidated FFB Help/Strategy Thread You are WAYYYYYY too thin at RB. No way you make it through the season with only one solid starting RB who happens to be in an offense that likes to throw it often and is on the last part/past his prime. The Good thing is you have plenty of leverage at WR, so I'd recommend packaging or straight up trading Mike SW, S Moss, and/or Mason for at least 2 more decent backs. In fact, I would try trading Roddy White for one more solid back maybe a Pierre Thomas or Beanie Wells. Can a part time player, who doesnt MA, Ghost, isnt backed and uses no technology win? Sounds like you're complaining more than anything in your post. How about not blaming MA-ers, ghosting or Pokertracker and evaluating your game' I think you might assume that you can't make good money grinding midstakes but multiple 5k+ scores and not having to play the absolute best of the best mtters can be quite profitable (and rewarding). I don't know how you play or anything, but it kind of sounds like you're placing the blame in the wrong direction. Consolidated FFB Help/Strategy Thread Yeah, this. After Rice, all the RB's can all be sort of grouped together and there's not a monstrous difference b/t the next 6 or 7 of them. Just pick up one of them in Round 2. I mean Gore is better than the rest of the pack, I just think you get more value out of Johnson, especially with the Texans pass heavy offense and ''s surrounding the health of Owen Daniels. Post your team's win total for the year and whether it's going ov or un (CFB or NFL) We had a decent recruiting class. Rivals ranked it #17, but we covered one of our major recruiting needs at O-line pretty well this year. Our major weakness was defense, but our new D-coordinator DeRuyter will be huge for us as he switches to the 3-4. Just running the 3-4 will be huge considering every offense in the Big 12 runs a spread and you need a ton of people covering constantly. I really don't see us losing to Kansas, Baylor, or Tech this year when you consider the strength of our offense and the fact that our defense should be a tad bit better by default just w/ the 3-4.
