"unlucky" is a way more appropriate response IMO.

What do you do when you are running cold in MTT
I am completely frustrated by the way I have been getting knocked out of tournaments this past week or so. Sick calls outdrawing me. My higher PP being outdrawn by lower PP. When you are running this bad, do you play through it' Do you take a break' I honestly think that I am going to take teh beat and then it happens. What can I do'

Re(2): Calling for your tourney life with A-K when in bad shape?
I disagree. Folding is the correct play. It is way too early to risk your chips on a "Call". AK is still just a drawing hand and you have to assume you are going into the hand behind, if not dominated by AA KK.

Different MTT strutcture - Proper strategy?
I am in a 25K freeroll tourney today that has a different structure than any I have seen before and am trying to see the best approach to the early part of the tournament. 3K chips to start, but players have earned add ons/rebuys based on the level of play they have done onver the past month. I have 6 add ons that I can use anytime in the first hour. So I can save them, or just start the tourney with $21K chips. Some will have one or two more buyins, but most will have less. Do you still play within the current blind structure or do you play based on your stack' Do you sit back and wait for ...

Re(2): higher stakes sit n go's
any time chip stacks are 10-14 times BB, it is preflop poker. You cant afford to raise and have to fold to a reraise. The blinds go up too quickly in a SNG to do much else.

Re(3): How to play AK utg with m of 5ish?
barely over 10 times BB Pre flop poker only. ALL IN! I think you have a chance to be called by a big stack with AQ or AJ or even A10 because they probably put you a smallish PP.

Re(3): A Little Perspective
Exactly. Sites that still do business with US players are booming, but you are naive to think that the online poker market is stronger than it was. US players make up a huge majority of the poker players online and many are gone thanks to Netellers demise in the US. Will they trickle back' Maybe. I don't think online poker is dead, but the landscape of poker online is very different and not as fish laden as it once was. I think the sharks will end up eating there own eventually if nobody steps up to fight this battle.

Re(2): Hand Advice
I don't think you did anything wrong in the first hand. push call at that time. Maybe you push all in with 88. Not sure if they call with KQ. They took with play away from you with the reraise, hoping to take it down there. The second is suspect. A9 UTG is very risky at a full table and I believe you should have folded it from this position and you certainly fold to an all in as you easily could be dominated.

Re(4): Can Your Outlook Affect Your Cards And Success
It definitely can affect your success. Just look at all of the "hot streaks" people get on and win tournament after tournament. They believe they will win and they do. I honestly had a zen like moment on this subject on Thursday. I have been a cash game only player for quite a while. (addicted to the rakeback!) But as a US player coupled with the swings of playing short handed tables or HU, it is hard to get money around to play, so I decided to try some MTT last week when I saw the sic money people are pulling in from these tourneys online. I figured every winner was a one shot ...

Re(6): FTP custumer service = oxymoron?
Thank you for at least looking into it for me. I guess I am just frustrated because: A) I was hot, won one 10K guarantee and 3rd two days later. I wanted to play in the FTOPS. B) I have $6000 frozen and that makes me nervous. C) it is becoming so difficult for US players. I have played on PRIMA for years and was quite comfortable there, but they have pretty much abandoned the US player. there are some skins that accept US players, but they don't offer any viable options for moving larger amounts of money in and out. (50 percent rakeback was nice too.) D) If you were to view my account, I ...

Re(4): FTP custumer service = oxymoron?
I don't have any issues with Firepay! I "closed" the account at my request. I can certainly see if that were the case, why FTP would back them up, but to say I have to reactivate an account that I cannot even use on your site is ridiculous. (FTP doesn't say anything about me owing Firepay money.) This is so frustrating. Prima is so superior to FTP, Absolute, and UB in service.

Please find for me where it says you must maintain a firepay account to keep your account on Fulltilt. I requested my Firepay account be deactivated since I wasn't using it anymore. Firepay doesn't let you close an account, it simply closes after 180 days of no usage.

Re(2): The bubble- input pls!!!
Lets look at both: Hand #1: At this stage of the tournament, I am looking at the smooth call as a strong hand, not a weak one. If he wasn't that strong, he would be looking to isolate or bluff by reraising the pot. It screams to me that he wants callers behind him. You don't want to be aggressive with a bad hand when you already have two players involved in the pot. If the pot is unopened to you, then you make your push. Hand #2: A better play by you, but look at the weak raise. Weak generally means strong. From that position, if he was stealing, he would raise 3-5 x BB or go all in. When I ...

Re(3): Late MTT FT situation...
You gotta push here, IMO. You only have 7 times BB. Any A, push. Any PP, push. Chances are they will fold to you, but if you wait much longer, they will be calling you with ATC.

Okay, I didn't get a response earlier and I am hoping FTPdoug will see this and be able to help. The following is an email I just received from FTP. They have suspended my new account with over $6K in it. I requested the deactivation of my Firepay account. Has anybody else run into this.: Hello Christopher, Thanks for writing to Full Tilt Poker Support. My name is Sandy and I'm pleased to assist you today. Upon a review of your account, it was determined that FirePay has deactivated your personal account #xxxxxxxxxxxx1854 on 08/29/2006. We have temporarily closed your Full Tilt ...

FTP custumer service = Please Help FTPdoug!
I am a long time prima network player who has been forced to switch over to FTP due to not being able to get money to and from the sites. So I started playing FT a couple of weeks ago. Last night, about 1am in the morning, I get an emial saying my account has been suspended due to multiple accounts. I hadn't played at Full Tilt in over 2 years at least, so I kind of forgot about and didn't really read teh TOS. Anyways, they said I had to go back to my primary account adn that I could request my balance to be withdrawn or transferred with it. They said my primary account was open still and ...

Re(2): How would you play QQ here?
Try and isolate to go heads up with one if you believe they don't have AA or KK. 3 or 4 handed you will only win with QQ about 1/3 of the time. Its push or fold depending on stack sizes, time to money, etc.
