EFT Withdrawal Options on FTP for US Players
I've twice now had a premium bank wire transfer rejected by my bank and am confused as to whether or not a US Player can use [payment processor name edited] to withdrawal monies using this processor, which seems like an EFT transfer. This option does show as available to me, but when I select "learn more" the information states that this is for users with accounts in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, not the US. I have used eCheck to deposit, but this option doesn't show up as available to me as a withdrawal method, only a deposit option. Is my only option then to request ...

Are verbal agreements to chop binding?
I was heads up in a $11 45-man SNG on FTP. The chipleader asked in chat if I wanted to chop. I agreed and he told me to select the "deal" button, which I did. He then pushes all in and I call. He wins the hand and I get second place money. I've never used the "deal" button before on FTP and wasn't sure how it worked. It seems that I got screwed -- is his verbal agreement to chop binding'

Re:Live poker pet peeves
I play a lot of 2/5 NL live poker and go to Vegas a lot (8x this year so far). I swear if I had a nickel for everytime I heard someone ask the person who opened with a raise "How much you got behind'" then almost immediately fold, I would be a rich woman! It really drives me bananas. I find the practice annoying and rarely does this question seem to impact this person's decision to call, raise or fold -- as it seems they've already made their decision and just want to be annoying.

Re(1): SeaTac and Poker
There's a good cardroom called Diamond Lil's that's really close to the airport -- probably about 5 miles in Renton. It's right off I-405 on Rainier Blvd. They don't have NL though, only limit tables. They spread 4/8, 8/16, 12/24 and 20/40. They also have a good 6/12 Omaha H/L game with a 10/20 kill. They close at 6:00 AM. You'd have to go to Muckleshoot Casino (Indian casino) for 24-hour action (and no-limit), but from the airport, it's 20-25 miles and would be a pretty hefty cab fare.

Re(1): Dumbest things you've ever heard at live tables.
I was in a MTT at a local casino. We're still in the re-buy period and there's 3 all-ins; pocket 7s, pocket 8s and pocket Qs. Pocket Qs sweeps the pot and the guy says . . . "I really didn't want to play the hand." I told him to basically to GTFO -- If you really didn't want to play the hand, then you would have folded. What a stupid thing to say.

How to play against Mr. Aggressive
I play a lot of live NL ($3/$5 $200 buy-in) and am a winning player. I am currently in Sydney for work and thought I'd check out their Star City Casino and play some poker (I was having withdrawals). The game was NL $5/$5 $200 max buy-in, plus a $1 fee for each hand (whether you played the hand or not, so each round was expensive). Consistently there was a lot of pre-flop action and most flops cost between $15-30 to see. Even in raised pots, there were typically 4-5 people seeing the flop. There was one player, Mr. Aggressive, who loved to "bet pot" after the flop, particularly when he was ...

Re(1): A Poker Post: Play this hand with me
I had a similar thing happen to me recently in a $50 tourny on Bodog. I was the chip leader with 10,280 chips (approximately). The blinds were 15/30. I was in the SB and was dealt AA. There were about 4 limpers, and the button min raised to 60 -- this player had about 6k in chips, so was doing pretty good. I re-raised to 400. He re-raised me, I re-raised in and before the flop, we were both all in. He called me with 9-10o. I was pretty stunned to see his cards and felt pretty good about bolstering my chip stack. Naturally, he turned an open ender and rivered the straight. I couldn't believe ...
