I am off Full Tilt for good - Who is coming with me? Boycotting Tilt as well, they froze my account for no real reason. Took me 9 months and alot of lost time to get my money back. Those are hours off my life I will never get back, and they were making interest on my money the whole time! Posted in: Poker Sites |

Foxwoods Megastack Numbers? Anyone play in day one of the $300, just wondering how hard of a time I'm going to have getting a seat at 10:30. I usually use PTseats, but it's not working so I'm hoping for the best. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Adjusting to be a NIT Nit range UTG' 99+,KQs+, AJs+ and maybe even less on the bottom of those ranges. Depends on table dynamics IMO: what's standard opening raise, if reraises pre are frequent, how many players see flops, etc etc...I used to know a very successful higher stakes pro who would fold his cards pre if he looked at the first one and it was below a 6. This guy was the equivalent of "The commish" from Rounders, around for years just living off the game quietly. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Stars cash game glitch Was just playing a stars NLHE table when the small blind left immediately after his hand was folded, the button skipped his seat and I became the small blind without ever paying the big. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Live Handshakes I agree with OP. Handshakes are reserved for bustouts or TV time. The occasional handshake at a cash table is acceptable only if you respect each other's game and it's a courtesy thing. Of course, if someone ever puts their hand out to shake mine I would never not shake their hand, that's just douchey. LOL, my local casino has sanitizer on every podium throughout the room and I still carry my own. Poker players as a whole are pretty grimey. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

how funny is watching Jean-Robert Bellande play poker....... Watched him playing live heads up last year for a couple minutes. In those ten minutes, he went from real low to being up two buyins on the guy. When he called down with Top top against mid set and runner runnered a bigger boat, the guy moved in on him for around $6500 on the river (a big overbet). Balande looked around the room, smiled, and asked the kid where he lived. "Massachusettes" was the response, JRB says "I call, here's cab fare back home." He flips over the nuts, and throws the kid a $100 chip. He didn't even bother to stack his chips, he just walked away from the table smiling... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Do ppl still sleep on Bigdogpckt5s ? Seems like most of the haters have 0 badges. As stated numerous times, he's obviously doing something right. When you make 10k+ decisions a day, there's bound to be one time(or four) that your insticts are wrong. The guy makes a read and sticks to it, hands down. Fearlessness is a trait many pros don't posses and BigDog shows how valuable it is. Keep stackin BigDog, when you have your own hate thread, you know your the man. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

PCA Super High Roller Event FYP Agreed there are too few "All Star Games". I remember watching the PPT (Professional Poker Tour) a while back. There were requirements to getting your "pro" card and the venue changed based on where the WPT was at the time. Sick idea but I guess too expensive.... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Consolidated Moved from PD Thread And again, I never said "Hey all these micro guys in the main are cheaters!" I simply asked how much the teams on these web sites look into these kinds of signs. There's obviously alot of reasons why people can do this sort of thing, but looking into the history a little deeper would do no harm and certainly make me feel safer when I play. If someone goes from the micros, makes a big score or a big deposit, and then starts playing big ok then. If your a micro player and are suddenly transferred 5k to play a huge even it might throw up a sign. Then again there are big transfers conducted ... Posted in: Bad Beats |

So what's the deal with the micro players in the WCOOP Main?? I didn't play, but looking through the threads, there's already quite a few names that are being mentioned. I know there's only so much we can do, but do web sites that look for cheating take this kind of thing into account' I know there has to be the occasional rich/bored person out there taking a shot or whatever, but how many can there be' Posted in: Bad Beats |
