Re:Andre to World: I Was Geekin On Meth
Agassi had a wrist injury in 1997 and began a less than steady marraige to Brooke Shields. It was the low point of his career and maybe even life so ya he felt like shit and went to drugs. Put him on the list of the millions of others who have done the same facing a shitty life. But he rebounded and became perhaps the most rigorously conditioned tennis player ever. His ranking shot up from 122 to 6 from the end of 1997 to 1998 which is completely ridic and the highest calendar year jump ever. He won 5 of his 8 Grand Slam titles AFTER being hooked on meth. Agassi is no fraud he is a stud and ...

Id have to be up against the biggest nit ever to muck here.

Re:Calling a raise with A10 suited: where did I go wrong?
flop- min raise/fold is bad. call his first bet on the flop. you are in position and this bet =/= your losing. Him betting 120 tells you jack about his hand. It could be a cbet or value bet. Now how i play the turn and river depend on how he bets the rest of the way. If he checks turn or follows up with a small bet say like around 120 again then im going to showdown. If he shows more strength on the turn then you can safely dump it.

Re:KK against river shove
AJ came to my mind right away. Whatever it is your certainly beat here I mean this would be a ridic. bluff. Change your bet sizes though. You should be betting 1/2-2/3 pot on flop and ~1/2 when its heads up on turn. Thats not revisionist history either. It allows someone to come over the top on an earlier street since a pot sized bet just about turns your hand face up especially when you jam again on the turn.

ft bubble> money bubble in small stakes tournies. i mean like what 6 billion people buy in so money bubble lasts about half a second. FT bubble is bomb for rapin the scurred peeps cause there all like "oh shitz son if i get FT i turn my 5 bucks into 70 thats good monies" while not even thinking about shooting for the 500+ first place take

Re:Cash Game BB Ratio Question
stack, limits, live, online''' You raised pre, hit, bet flop for value like you should, got shoved on and only have 25bbs. SNAP CALL. If your worried about him shoving on you then c/c for pot control. But really this is a perfect flop for you. I wish i knew how much he had but it sounds like he had you well covered so losing to you would not hurt him that much. Could he have KT-KQ' Or even AK also'. Or is it always AA,88,55'

Re:Microstakes cash - top pair, nut flush draw
when you re raise his flop bet you have to shove his 3bet. but what do you do on the turn if he just flats your re raise' your very deep i can agree with flatting flop. you have a big hand but if he is willing to get in 200bbs with you then he has you beat very often(considering his good pt numbers). Its pretty clear when he bets that board he either has a flush draw or a made hand so either way if you make your flush your getting paid off.

Re:Please dissect this one for me. Did I play it wrong or just get unlucky?
Any ten, JJ+ are calling a raise at minimum on the flop. Unless he multi barrels i always raise here because any made hand is coming along.

Re:Should I have pushed pre?
Hidden bad beat post' Seems to me like you know what the play to make was. With your stack any hand your playing needs to put all your chips in the middle unless you got AA, KK i guess. As played, flop is obv. snap call. Lol gross beat man.

Re:WTF DID HE PUT ME ON
to directly answer your question he put you on worse than AT. It was not that hard to either. you checked the flop, bet tiny on the turn, then check shoved the river and your doing that with a big hand' Although even if you play it like you have AJ+ its safe to say he isnt folding anyway. i assume you dont know too much about him yet since blinds are low still so with that in mind i like flop play and would c/c turn and river for pot control since it seems from his river bet he would allow a cheap showdown.

Re:Jerry Yang needs an ass whoopin'
as a christian who plays poker(talk about minority) i can tell you from my own research and talks with christian leaders that gambling is not a sin (im sure other christians would disagree of course). our faith sees any mismanagement of money as a sin and gambling within your means is no such mismanagement. there is no difference between blowing 1k on gambling or a TV if you got the money. If that 1K pays your rent, feeds your children, ect. then that is considered a sin amongst christians that i know. BTW even as a christian i feel his prayer antics were over the top. Im just sitting there ...
