Re(4): Why i'm leaving......... Someone dig up the post where where WAR quit OT because Wein called him out, after WAR cheated at Penny Omaha and would only go all-in with the hands WAR liked. TY. From what I have observed (Like last week with the target thing), WAR overeacts to everything right after it happens and then simmers down when he figures out what it actually means. You'll be back. Re(1): HU experts need some advice I think PF is probably a spew. I just fold that a lot of times. Playing 7-4 suited OOP, especially in a HU sit-and-go, is asking for trouble. Wiith weakish hands like that, a lot of times you are forced to fold on the turn or river, after giving up a portion of your stack. In HU sit-and-gos, every stack portion counts A LOT. On the flop, I raise his 400 to like 1200, and push any re-raise by him. After he raises 4800, it looks a lot like he has a strong ace, set, or two pair. Or more unlikely, a draw. Your hand is ahead of his range, as you are about 62% to win. Plus, he folds a lot of his ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Hardest form of NL Hold'em Cash games Yes, you are somewhat right My question still applies. I am looking for different viewpoints. But, different forms have different variance levels, metagame, amount of bad beats, etc. So, we may see a trend based on that. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): asdfasdfjak;sdfkalsdf Shortstackers can SMD If you make it 100 BB you risk driving away a lot of shortstacking fish. The most annoying thing about shortstacks is that they rathole and once they get a certain number of BB they leave the table and come back after their 30 min time limit is up. It is just really unethical. The fact of the matter is that their is absolutely no way to beat a shortstack that knows what they are doing. The shortstacks at the 25/50 game know exactly how to do it. The regulars in the game know how to not pay them off, but they cant really win anything from them. I think it may be the fish who are stacking ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Everyday Cash Game Situations None of the below situations are retardedly complicated but situations that I seem to get myself into everyday. All hands are made up but the situations are real. Sorry for no hand histories. Since the hands are made up lets be generic and say the games are six handed at 5/10, the Villian and the Hero both have 100 BB stacks, and the hero just sat down w/ no read on his opponents. Hand 1: Hero has KhQd Hero raises to 35 in CO, Villian calls from BB. Flop comes KJ10, two hearts. Hero bets 60, Villian raises to 180. What is your play' Hand 2: Hero has AhKd and raises to 35 the BB from under ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): cash games and buying short? Only if you are going to alter your playing style extremely to satisfy the fact that you have only 20 buy-ins. You cant play like you would with 100 buy-ins. I dont think it is a good idea, only because it is a very hard way to play, and you will make much more money dropping down a few levels and playing with a full buy-in. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
