The Last of Us....
I'm a big fan of the Uncharted games and anything with zombies is generally cool so I'm pretty excited for this game. Don't really get excited for games much but I really like the looks of this one

Yeah I agree. I said as soon as I saw her name that shes done. I haven't watched Survivor much the last few years, but if "the underdog" like Eddie makes the final 3, does the jury see that as being a huge feat and all vote for him, or do they stick with the people who actually play the game like Cochran who definitely deserves it' I can see Eddie doing well in this one if he gets in there somehow, and I can see people wanting to take him there with them.

Yeah it all went as planned. Pretty stupid of her not to cover her ass at that point, no matter how confident she felt. Pretty boring, predictable episode, but they can't all be great like the last few, and there should be some interesting ones from here on out.

I havent read much of this thread, but I just saw on the news that the police tweeted that 3 more suspects have been taken into custody because of involvement in these bombings. Not sure if it's beenmentioned yet or not.

I don't really get all the hate for Catelyn. Sure she isn't the most exciting character, but we already have plenty of those in this show. She plays a necessary role, and I think she is playing it really well. Sure she is annoying sometimes, but I bet a lot of your moms are too. Not mine though. I like Osha and Hodor as supporting characters too, which nobody has mentioned I don't think, but most people probably don't like them either.

Agree about Arya. She always gets underestimated because she is 'just a little girl' but proves everyone shes legit over and over. Like they said in the cave they were in at the end of the last episode, she was likely the bravest one there and usually is wherever she is. So hard to pick a top 5 but Arya would def be near the top of my list.

Gotta say, i would have loved to see some (any) of the fight between the night watchmen and the white walkers. Also feel that Ser Davos deserved more story/screen time. Pretty fuckin awesome first episod tho. (Book reader obv). Gonna be an awesome season!

Wife's Graduate Program and My career
I was in a similar situation once, where i had to quit my job of ahout 55k so that my wife could get a job once finishing her PhD. There was never any quesion for me though, since she was in university for 13 years to become a professor, and there are very limited opportunities once you get to that level. I have a degree and had a good job with a foresty company, but where we moved there are no jobs in my field, so i am working in the manufacturing industry, making tape for shit $. I saw one a few years back in Alberta too. It lit up the whole sky and was pretty freaky for a few seconds. I was on the bus and people were going nuts. It wasnt quite as cool as this one though, and I think whatever was left just fell in a farm field somewhere in Saskatchewan or something.

Cooking lunch with KMC: Chicken Tacos
I made chicken tacos last night myself and they turned out amazingly delicious, but i use ground chicken, bought that way, and a combination of my own spices, rather then the package junk. It was basically 1 package of ground chicken, cooked with a little oil, garlic, ginger, and dried chillies. then add 1 chopped green pepper and 1 chopped onion, then sriracha sauce, basil, and cajun spices, then threw in some chopped up roasted red peppers and olives. Then i heated some of the hard taco shells in the oven, put some grated old cheddar cheese in the bottom, topped them with a little hot ...
