Hero Poker changed their rewards program About to hit a new class level on hero poker and just noticed that they changed their rewards program around. Once you hit level 100 you no longer get a tournament ticket each level. The class level up rewards bonuses have been decreased. They have added a VIP points decay after level 100 that really only matters if you completely stop playing on hero. To replace the tourney ticket benefit they have increased the exchange rate for points to cash at different levels and I would assume, although not positive of this, allowed rakeback players to be able to exchange which we werent able to do ... Multiple accounts on different sites but the same network Just curious if you are allowed to have accounts on different sites that are on the same network. For instance on the merge network. Obviously you arent allowed to play in the same tournament or sngs or cash tables with these accounts. The purpose would be to take advantage of the different signup bonuses that are offered. Just wondering if this is allowed. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Re:So I won a Pokerstars WSOP ME package Never stayed at the Palms but seems like a really nice hotel and if you are supernova or higher on stars they upgrade you to a suite. Really depends on what you are looking for. If all you are concerned with is being close to the WSOP then cant really go wrong with the Palms because Stars provides a shuttle that isnt really necessary since it is definitely walking distance to the RIO. Also another benefit is that if you are still in after the 12th you dont have to worry about extending your stay because Stars will do that for you. However if you are concerned with having easy access to ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:So I won a Pokerstars WSOP ME package Everything Dangle said sounds about right except for the fact that you actually have to play to get the extra $1000. You don't have to, you simply decline the hotel when you fill out the info with Stars and they will credit your account with the $1000 instead. Best spot for answers really is on stars website here is the link to their FAQs page. / That should be able to answer most all of your answers. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:So I won a Pokerstars WSOP ME package The other $1000 is for the hotel. This is what happened last year and I may be off a little with some of the details. You should get an email in a few days that I believe has a link you click where you give them some details about you and whether or not you want to take the sponsored route and also if you will be staying at their hotel (Palms). If you decline the hotel then you will get $1000 in cash in your account at some point. I do not remember what the time frame is though and you can still take the sponsored route without staying at their hotel. If you take the hotel then I think it is ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

SNG Wiz anyone buy using the site transfer option? Planning on buying SNG Wizard and just wanted to know if anyone has used the site transfer option (for example transferring from your stars account) to purchase it' Did you have any problems and do you think purchasing through paypal with a credit card would be better so there is more recourse if something goes wrong with the software and you need confirmation you paid or had to cancel the charge for some reason. Thanks for any help. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Live Poker in Scotland? I know there are at least a couple of casinos in Glasgow. Played a small mtt there this past summer. They also spread cash games but I am not sure what the limits were and I think they basically got started up at night after people busted from the tournament. One is close to the middle of the city (where I played) and another is down by the water in what seemed to be a little less nice of a neighborhood but nothing to worry about too much. There will be a dress code of some sorts so I would try and find their websites before you go. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Has Stars multiple currencies decreased participation in steps and other sats Curious as to if anyone knows or I guess has any thoughts on if the Stars steps and Satellites for events have had participation decrease since they switched to the multiple currency option and now only offer some sattys such as the EPT, UKIPT, etc in specific currencies Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:TPNK on a suited flop facing a donk bet, wwyd Don't like the spot as said in earlier replies not too much I see him showing up here with that you like seeing even if you happen to be ahead at the moment in some spots. Re:SCOOP? Just curious as to why it is running later this year. I would think this will cut into some of the wsop qualifying. Any insight as to why you guys decided on this would be appreciated Bryan. Also will WSOP qualifying start right after SCOOP ends or will it possibly run at the same time' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Why both US $ and Euro Steps on Stars? Can anyone explain the reasoning behind this? Title basically says it. Just wondering why they did this when it will probably severely limit the amount of steps that actually go off. For that matter why offer two different currencies to even play in when I can only see it limiting the amount of players in each' If someone can come up with some good reasoning for this that maybe I am missing please enlighten me' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:The Beggleiter Slap(WSOP 09) happens in real life too. Try going to europe and ask someone if they speak english most likely answer is a little bit. Then you start talking to them and they speak and understand english better than most americans. I find it quite amusing. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:DON Bubble Question with 1650 in chips u should definitely be open shoving KK here I would also say yes to QQ. You aren't guaranteed a cash here and one of the most important parts of you shoving is that it takes that play away from the other shortstacks. BB should only be calling w/AA here and I realize sucks that you lost this but definitely should be shoving QQ+ and AK here. Also would help to know what the buyin was because that will help give some info on the expected caliber of player in this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Is there any reason that a decent STT player would chose to play PS's Steps? yes you most definitely do get vpps/fpps for tournaments that you play and buyin with step tickets, whether it is a step 4 you use for the sunday million or a step 3 that you earned as a repeat of a step 3 that you then play another step 3 with, you get the points for each of the touraments that you played Posted in: Poker Discussion |
