Tom Glavine was pretty fucking good. Over 300 wins, probably the last pitcher that will do so. Other close calls over the past 20 years... John Smoltz, Mike Mussina, Roy Halladay, Curt Schilling Pedro, Clemens, Randy Johnson, and Greg Maddux are no brainers I'd personally take any of the above over Rivera. He's a HoF reliever, but the Closer position in general is one of the most over-payed, overrated positions in all of sports.

Sporting events you can watch repeatedly despite knowing the outcome?
YES! Best rumble ever. Bobby Heenan Commentary was incredible during that match. You guys probably don't count wrestling, but it's easily the most re-watchable event that resembles sport. Wrestlemania 18 - Rock vs Hogan JR - "He beat Andre the Giant with that move!!"

it's over a year old, but it's one of the most, if not the most, competitive game out there. If you're into competitive gaming. If you into turning off your brain and killing bad guys, buy BF3. It's better on the PC than the PS3 or 360

Although sweet chin music came before the stunner, I grew up in the Attitude Era, so the Stunner was THE Finisher. When Austin hit the stunner it was like nothing else. I like move like SCM and the RKO/Diamond Cutter (stuff that can be hit out of nowhere), but when I think Finisher, I think the Stone Cold Stunner.

really' I actually thought Hominick won that fight. Outside of the two knockdowns and the other guy going for the reckless finish Hominick picked him apart. The last round could have been 10-8 in Hominick's favor. So just because he knocks him down means the rest of the round is discounted' It just looked worse because Hominick cuts easy as shit, which is bad for him if he's going to go to a decision.

Californication or Dexter?
Agree 100%. Breaking Bad is the best show on TV and it's not even close. I've never been on the edge of my seat like I am for Breaking Bad. It's so intense, and the acting just makes everything else seem like shit. Bryan Cranston is the best actor on TV, period.

from what I've heard Cal Ripken is an asshole, but you can't deny how great a player he was, and the fact that he saved baseball after the strike, before the juice took it to new heights. Him breaking Gehrig's record was one of the greatest moments in the history of sports. He was one of the greatest power hitting shortstops of all time. 431 HRs (2nd all-time among HoF SS) Sure, he was overrated because of the streak, but he was a HoF player without it. I don't even like him.

Californication or Dexter?
Both are just alright at this point. Californication was much more entertaining in the earlier seasons, it's still entertaining, just not nearly as good as it was. Dexter was amazing in Seasons 1, 2, and 4 (in that order). Seasons 3 and 6 weren't terrible, but season 5 almost made me stop watching. It definitely took a step in the right direction with Season 6 because season 5 was rock bottom. If I had to pick one I'd pick Dexter. Shameless is 100 times better than both right now.

like a few people have already said. aside from a few good one liners this show has really gone downhill. Season 1 was some of the best TV in the history of TV, dare i say. S2/S3 just couldn't live up to how good season 1 was. I still enjoyed it, but I wouldn't mind if it's over.

Card was amazing, show was decent. Having arguably the best wrestler in the world (Bryan) get squashed in 18seconds has to be one of the worst decisions in the history of the WWE. The crowd was clearly hot for the match, as seen by all the YES! signs and YES! chants. Not to mentions all the "Daniel Bryan! YES! YES! YES!" chants for the next hour after the squash, up until the HHH/Taker match. The HHH/Taker match was amazing story-telling. Not so much of a great wrestling match. I agree with you. I can't believe people are actually defending the Saints and Sean Payton. News flash, if Payton wouldn't have lied about having knowledge of the bounties he probably wouldn't have gotten a whole year. He impeded an investigation by lying. WTF is so hard to understand about this. People keep talking about the AFC West like it's a very tough division or something. Competitive and tough are two different things. While the AFC West doesn't have a bad team in the division it doesn't have a very good team either. Just 4 mediocre teams fighting it out. 10-6 or 9-7 will do.

The show isn't about just zombies. It's about the characters trying to survive in a lawless world. I appreciate the fact that you are all huge fans of the series, but if you can't see my point of view then you're just being blinded by your devotion to the comics. Up to that point everything in the show was believable. Like, if this happened this is how people would react. i know nothing about the books/comic. So, to me, seeing someone walking through the woods looking like a Sith Lord with a Samurai Sword and pet zombies chained around their necks seems....stupid. It takes the reality out of the show. The entire first half of the 2nd season they spent time trying to get you to know the characters better and actually make it a character driven show. So you're saying that Brees should be over-payed now because he was under-payed before' Just so he can say, catch up to what his worth actually was over those years' I don't think any GM thinks like that. Your old contract doesn't matter, it's what you are worth at this moment. Brees signed a contract. Plenty of guys outperform their contracts all the time. With that logic Arian Foster should be payed a hell of a lot more because he was basically making the league minimum. This self thought process is the reason why there are more and more holdouts every year.

no way. the episode with Will Ferrell was by far the worst. At least this one had a few funny moments like Stevie fucking that chick and Kenny initially playing Candlebox I agree that this season has been terrible as a whole with only a few funny moments here and there. Last season sucked too though. Right now the show is living off the 1st seasons reputation.
