lol Eagles tickets (stake inside)
I'm guessing the tickets right now are $750 each per game and I'm estimating a 15K deposit which would put the grand total at about $230,348.

Re:College Football Post Spring top 25...
As a PSU fan I have no love for OSU but how can you call their schedule weak when they are playing 4 top-25 teams including 2 that are hovering around the top 10' I am not saying they have the hardest schedule in the world but there aren't many teams playing super hard schedules.

Re:LOL Green Energy
If improving the quality of our environment is the goal then the type of fuel we use is really only one part of the equation. A good deal of the real change will be three-pronged imo: Consumption: We have to start consuming less. The amount of useless things that we buy and throw away is astonishing. The amount of things we throw away when they could still be used for 100 different other purposes is astonishing. Oil is used heavily in the actual production of tons of items as well as the transportation, etc of them. A large-scale movement of finding creative (and some times obvious) ways to ...

Re:Is Alex Jones legit?
Pretty much this. There is definitely some validity to a lot of the topics/arguments he brings up but he such a nut pie that it is hard to take him completely serious. Just look at his website, it has fear-mongering written all over it. A large number of people think he works for the people he disses.

I could have sworn the name was "today was a good day." Rigged. I kept typing in "funk soul brother" for the fatboy slim song. Stupid title. 25/36 tho.

Re:This is why you're fat: b/c salads cost more than Big Macs
I find it humorous that you posted a video in this thread downplaying the idea of thinking your own views are so superior to others that you should tell other people what is best for them or how to think or whatever. Yet every single thing you post is covered with contempt for those who agree with views that oppose yours and a sense of clear superiority of your own ideals. Ohhhh the ironing.

Re:ban poker tracker
It does NOT tell you what to do. Sure, it gives you extra bits of info that can affect your decision making but it doesn't tell you what to do by any stretch of the imagination. Most of the stats aren't even accurate unless you have hundreds if not over 1000 hands with someone. Even then, while it certainly can provide an edge, it isn't nearly as big as the one people itt are making it out to be. I do think there are good arguments for banning it, but this idea of it making decisions for you just needs to be crushed.

Re:The Future Of Food-Documentary
Actual organic food is certainly not a crock of shit. The issue is that the guidelines under which companies can put "organic" on the labels of food is pretty skewed. Therefore a lot of the food labeled organic is either not really organic or more damaging to the enviornment than buying a normal product. But yes, buying local is the single best thing you can do to your diet.

Re:Would visiting a slaughterhouse change your mind on meat?
I think there is a disconnect in this thread between what is really wrong with slaughterhouses and what people think the argument is. They are not completely effed up because they are "violent" or anything. They are effed up because they are some of the most unsanitary places on the planet. The way meat is raised and slaughtered on a mass scale is a breeding ground for disease. The average burger ends up coming from like 100+ different cattle, all of which have been raised on a completely unnatural diet and slaughtered in places in which there is barely any adhered to safety ...

Re:Political and religious threads suck!! Go away!!
Again, you are missing the point. By saying you would "throw rocks at his worthless ass," "he has the power to do anything," "he lets people die," etc. I stated that I reject the idea of God that you are railing against. I posited that "God" is really just our collective consciousness. There is only one organism and we are all inextricably connected both physically and in spirit. It is just an illusion that we are all separate beings and that "God" is this "other" entity that has all these powers. This is not pointless at all ...

Re:Political and religious threads suck!! Go away!!
Well how do you define God' If you mean a personal entity separate from us that engages in such human characteristics as love and revenge, then I agree. If you mean there is no higher intelligence, such as a collective consciousness that we are all inextricably linked to and have become alienated from, then I disagree.

Political and religious threads suck!! Go away!!
I usually just lurk and make an inconspicuous post here and there, but I have something I want to say to OT. This is mainly to the people that post about topics such as politics and religion. Often in these threads people throw around phrases like "who cares, this is pointless, nobody is going to change their mind anyway." I would like to counter that and say that not only do I enjoy these types of discussions, but my views and outlooks have certainly changed over the least few years, due in very large part to OT. Now I don't sit there and change my stance every time I see a ...

Re:Droid Owners
I have MotoTorch. It uses the LED light as a flashlight. Pretty handy. And I don't know shit about other smart phones but the droid is just awesome. I was always the kind of person who said "I don't really need a phone for anything other than calling and texting." This is one of the best things I've ever bought. Does the iPhone have a docking station you can buy with it' I love the fact that I can put my droid in the docking station, hook it up to my computer, and sit there and watch youtube videos, listen to pandora, etc, while doing other stuff on my comp while ...
