Dealt sixes under the gun with 60 BB's stack. what's the best play
Raising is fine I think pre, but I would just check fold flop. Going to be very hard to get 3 folds and apart from the 6 you are going to hate most turns.

Just to add my 2c... Aus is indeed a very expensive place to live. I also think your g/f will find it hard to find a job. She might be able to work on a working holiday visa, depends on her age and nationality. You should definitely research this - I know of people who have had Immigration turn up at their flat and basically escort them to the airport. You dont need that shit. Timezone is a pain in the ass, as others have said. If you are moving here to grind, then NZ is probably a better option as it is 2 hours ahead. Its also a very long way away. 14hr flight from Sydney to LA, so forget ...

I was wondering what things people use to get reads on players online
Sizing of the bets is probably the main one for me. Timing tells assume you are paying attention, which is hard when you have multiple tables and porn up at the same time.

This is true, but you are only 60:40 or thereabouts against a flush draw, whereas you almost drawing dead against a set. Also you are not just against one opponent but 2.

With that action on a board that dry it is indeed hard to see what you can beat here. Hard to think one of them doesnt have a set here. Given you still have 4k+ chips I think I can find a fold.

Late tourny decisions with M between 6 and 10
Given the info that you have given - i.e. you have been stealing a lot in LP, he has been 3 betting a fair bit, and it is close to the bubble - this seems like a reasonably straightforward 4 bet shove.

Cannot download Stars - help needed!
Have borrowed a friend's laptop....trying to download Stars and am gettng the message that "pokerstarsinstall.exe s not a vald win32 applicaton". I also thought at the time that BBS should have tried to get more cash out of the deal. No doubt he was the best player there. I suspect he realised that it would be close to impossible to co-ordinate agreement from 8 other players at the table (it was hard enough to get them to agree just to the numbers). Another factor no one has mentioned is tiredness. Tourny had been going for 14 hrs, he was probably shattered!

Doubt this will take much over 14-15 hrs. If we get to 600 mill chips, it will probably finish with the blinds at something like 5m-10m, which is level 53. That is 13 hrs of poker and just 1 hr over of breaks. Be interesting to see though.

FIRST hand in Stars $320 Wed Night
I dont play these stakes so take this as you will... it seems to me that in a sense you were "lucky" that the J came on the river, in that you are now seemingly beaten by every hand in his range (unless he has KK, but surely he would check that behind') and have a relatively easy fold.
