We need a separate thread for the pro-Bobo/anti-Bobo posts (maybe a Bobo well, but with only negative questions about 2+2) - I was going to say this thread was 5 stars but it started to fall apart fast and I couldn't keep reading the back and forth. I did LOL also at the conservative target turning into an optimistic target.

Is there a way to save your preferences for table settings each time' I have to click "Wait for BB" "4 color cards" "auto muck" every time I sit down at a cash table. The site doesn't seem to remember my settings. Surely, I'm just clueless and there is a way to save the table settings' Never mind. I finally figured it out.

FTP Update 4/21
Doug, What happens to ring game tickets that still had value left on them' I know that if you don't use them for I think 7 days then they expire. I checked my account balance this morning and one is showing up as expired.

Seriously'!' Go there this weekend and see. I haven't been there in a while (live in Orlando), but I'm pretty sure they have a separate room for the high limit games now. The Hollywood Hard Rock should have the biggest games running in the state. They will definitely have 25/50nl and will prob run 50/100nl quite often.

FL Poker - Finally Uncapped!!!
In about 8 1/2 hours Florida poker will finally become uncapped!!! No more $100 max buy-in in cash games!!! Weeeeee!!! I (and a lot of P5ers) have been waiting years for this day. I won't be able to play until Friday and will probably be playing at Daytona Kennel Club because of all the race fans being in town for the weekend. Where is everyone playing this tonight' this weekend' I would be interested to hear trip reports from the different rooms - how the games are, how clueless/well informed the staff of the different rooms are, how the dealers are handling the changes, etc.

DPOTTTTZ .......... Classless Slowrolling DOUCHE!!
I would love to see some of the people supporting slow rolling attempt that in a live game, especially a deep stacked cash game in a big pot - maybe in a home game where they don't feel protected by the confines of the casino. I really hope that there is a lot of leveling going on in this thread that I am just missing b/c I'm jet lagged today.

I'm way late to the thread, but I had a serious WTF moment when I saw all the people supporting slow rolling. Spreadicus is a good guy and was venting about someone pulling a jack ass move on him. If you are a fan boy of the guy that slow rolled him that doesn't make the slow roll any more right than any other time. That being said, I will prob slow roll Spreadicus next time I'm given the chance. :D

As far as how often they run... Lower buy-ins run 24/7 depending how motivated the floor is to move things along and how long the sat line. They will mix in the non-NLHE sng sats usually the days before the non-NLHE events. As far as structure - the lower the buy-in the closer you are to a turbo sng. Higher the buy-in = better structure. Piece of advice - if you are planning to play sng sats always ask the table if they are interested in a last longer. It essentially increases your buy-in without increasing your rake, so you are paying less vig.

Very easy to sell them at face value. You just go up to the tourney buyin line and ask if someone will buy it. It is just common courtesy if you are waiting in line to buy it. You can also use them for other sng sats.

Update (4/8/10): The bill was just read in the Senate it was amended to change the date the law goes into effect from when the governor signs to July 1, 2010. So it looks like we will have to wait until 7/1/10.

LOL. I definitely understand why you are skeptical, but just check the news. The compact was signed and will pass the house and senate this week. 1. The compact last year did not have any senators or reps involved in the negotiations. They were an integral part of the negotiations this time. 2. Uncapped poker and extended parimutuel hours (18hrs weekdays; 24 hrs weekends) were tied to the previous compact. That would be the case this time also, but the state has a separate parimutuel bill currently in process that isn't tied to the Seminole compact - if necessary.

Check the 2+2 ongoing thread - particularly the posts from PokerXanadu. 1. The Seminole compact was agreed to and signed. 2. The senate and house have to pass it this week. Will be a slam dunk since they were in on negotiations. 3. Parimutuels uncapped poker and extended hours are tied to the passing of the Seminole compact. 4. We could get uncapped poker by as early as this weekend - probably a slight bit longer.

Yes. You can figure out how much of a RB hit it is by taking the total prize pool/# of players x 27% Ex - $10,000 prize pool/1,000 entrants = $10 x 27% = $2.70 rakeback hit

OK. I guess I should re-phrase it then to read super turbo mtt sats. I played one today and it ended in 30 mins. By the time late reg was closed there were seats being awarded to more than half of the remaining players. I agree on the super turbo mtts...keep it open as long as they want as long as the tourney isn't near the money bubble.

What site are you trying to import hands from' I think you need to select an auto save location for you HHs in both FTP and PS when you re-install their software on new computers. Once you know the location of the HHs are being saved to then you can direct the HEM auto import to those locations. Hope this helps
