$600 Iron Man Bonus
What is the value of the $600 Iron Man Bonus (3000 medals) when you consider the loss of rakeback. Haven't taken the time to figure out how it exactly reduces rake. Any rakeback experts out there.

Super Turbo MTT $16+1 3 handed - Is shove the only play here?
Ok - I think this is a cooler, but I want to get some feed back. Just off break, final 3 with payouts of $3K, $2K, $1.45K. Hand is below: Blinds: 3K/6K 500ante BU (62K chips) - Folds SB Hero (102K) - Hand 6-6 BB (142K) Thought for a bit, and figured it was a shove. Does anyone limp or possibly raise to 12-13K and fold to shove' Not sure if I should be playing low to mid prs cautiously due to the low stack. He woke up with J-J, and I went out in 3rd.

Is the risk worth the value?
Pot odds say don't call 3-1 as you have prob 8 outs, maybe 14 if he is betting the Ten. I think your implied odds dictate a call as the A or 9 will probably get paid off to some degree. Prob wish you had checked for the free card, no''

I call, good chance he bluffs off rest of his chips on turn. You want to get all your chips in anyway.

I was late reging for 27.50 and ended up in the $109 rebuy about 45 min in. Got KJ on 2nd hand in BB, call button raise, hit J high flop, get it all in, he hits straight on turn. . . Needless to say I didn't rebuy!!

Re:line please
Nasty spot. If he is tag, you are getting a call, of course, with a shove. His bet size screams big pair, looking for a call or reshove'' Range maybe JJ+, AK. Of course, if he's real good, he may be trying to represent that range. Results' BTW, I'm from Cumberland as well.

Re:superturbo winrate
You will probably settle around the 5-10% rate, would be my guess. I think I am around that for the $30's, close to even for the $42's. Try to play a few in with the $60 turbos

Re:$11 2R1A Ps - Is this a leak?
Thanks for the feedback. Not at home to post actual HH, but he showed up with 2-2, and of course hit a set on the flop. I agree that a call might have worked better there. I am getting frustrated on PS with MTT's as my BR has gone from 4.2K to 1.7K in 2 months due to major drought. Luckily, my SNG grinding on FT has made up for it. GL

Re:MTTs ROI
Figure out your goals - Play for fun to see if you can win, Play for extra income, Play to eventually become a pro''' From what I see here, I would shoot for establishing a 10-30% ROI after 500-1000 MTT's. Of course, MTT's are all about the 1-3rd finishes, so ROI can change based on a couple of decent finishes at any given time. It's worth it if you have fun and can afford to cover your short term losses imo. . .

Re:2 Months $2MM = Jump the Shark
My only problem is that if the "Nerdy" math guy becomes the face of poker, we may not see as much of it on TV anymore. I was feeling like "Is that how I sound when I talk about poker" while watching. Don't get me wrong, I do like the show. I had been getting this impression from each episode, the Connect 4 piece put me over the edge.

Check your transaction history on your FT account, they may have transferred the money into the account. Not sure if you are expecting the money directly or into the FT account.

Re:2 Months $2MM = Jump the Shark
My point was that the Hollywood crowd, that is at the WSOP and other events which draws the TV and other money, may start to turn away which could lead to a popularity decline. Still have the Jason Alexanders and other celebs playing now, if general public starts to view the game as math geeks and D&D type game, could see a decline in players. Just my impression. Will stop posting and read now. . .

Re:2 Months $2MM = Jump the Shark
I agree in those terms, my ill feeling is the impression you get from the guys. I have a Math degree(geek''), just feel like they come across as computer geeks at times. Trying to convince babes at the pool to play in a Connect 4 tournament, didn't look too good. Hey, wish I had their skills, obv. just my thoughts.

2 Months $2MM = Jump the Shark
Is it me or does this show make you feel that Poker is jumping the shark. Connect 4 Event. These guys are talented, but they make me feel like poker is another version of dungeons and dragons. I'm ancient by Online Poker standard, so would like to hear other people's opinions.

Unless you satty'ed in cheap, itm should be no concern at this stage. I defer to Jen on the decision, I agree in ep it is close. You need to build stack so you can play hands later. Min cashes don't get you very far!!!

Re:Superturbos = WTF?
I mix in $14 supers with $22 reg turbos for volume. I play pretty tight early, be conservative, shove late, alot of other ICM applies. About a 10% ROI is doable, I think 5-10% is a target. Can get frustrating, but I think it is good ICM practice.
