***P5er WSOP plans and Twitter info*** I am heading out Thursday, June 2nd and will be there until July 15th. I plan on playing several Venetian Deep Stacks and plan on playing the Main Event of WSOP. I never stayed longer than 2 weeks before so I'm pretty fired up. I plan on blogging also. Re:My Poker Plan I'll be there the 17th through the 22nd and you can make plenty of money just playing 2/5 at The Venetian. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Explain to my parents how Online players can be better than Live.. Not as much as if you just grind the $2/5 cash game at the Venetian. Trust me on this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Explain to my parents how Online players can be better than Live.. Regardless if you are better than the live players playing tournaments in Vegas I think you need to have a better plan than "grinding live MTTs" for a year. If you are winning online then I suggest you continue to play online and grind cash games in Vegas. I find it hard to believe someone could make much of a living grinding daily tournaments in Vegas. Your edge is just not that great in my opinion. The cash games are a different story however. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:1/2 Jump to 2/5 in Vegas I've spent a lot of time in the 2/5 games at the Venetian. Like someone else said during the summer the game is pretty soft with maybe 2/3 regulars (old ass grinders) at each table. During off months the table is probably at least half full of regulars. The good news is a lot of those regulars are not very good. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Table changes suck! I hate when I'm strolling along easily picking up chips b/c I have every player down then BOOM table change to kill my momentum. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Add on question Let say at the end of the rebuy period you are top ten in chips out of 1,000 people. Is there any sense in adding on' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Vegas help At that end of the strip you need to go to Mandalay Bay or MGM for a good $1/2 game. As far as PLO probably need to go to The Orleans' Someone else can probably answer that one better. Make a point to go play at the Venetian at least once. That is the best poker room in Vegas. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Home game rake..-EV? It's not shady. If you live in a state like Texas where there is no legal live poker there are games like this everywhere. To the OP, keep your stats after several visits you will know if it is profitable. I've played in several games like the one you are describing and it's a toss up depending on the players that are there that particular night. I've seen guys come in and buy in for $100 ten or twelve times and leave with nothing. If you have people like that sitting in the game you are most likely going to come out ahead.
