Yea I'm aware of being in midposition and having to fold to someone's 4 bet...I agree that raise folding pre is a bit spewy but it would help define ranges and make the laydown easier....I would like to put myself in an easier spot....and just think that a raise would have done so....but I also see your line as well....like I said initially it is a really tough spot IMO and just trying to think of ways that would make the decision making process easier that is all....Def would like to hear some more input here

I'm with allen here. Also one other point I hate just checking when there is no action and small blind limps. Why not raise pre if your going to see the flop. Most of the time you take down the pot. Pretty sure most people that are limping there ace's there are going to reraise your bet. Then you just let your hand go there and save a ton of money. I guess it is possible he flats your bet, but then again you can get away on the flop. So I would have raised pre folded to reraise and got away from the flop

Tough spot for me.....I have a hard time ranging minraises....preflop I think pocket pairs 22+ are a possibility....Ak,Aq,Aj....i don't think A10 plays that way there but it is a $3 rebuy so it might....lets just say it does....If A10 is in there I think you may be able to put two suited connecting broadways as well all the way down to J10 soooted i guess....after flop ak, aq, aj, and a10 stay as well as AA,KK,JJ....pocket paris <1010 go away on flop.....on turn he has two pair, a set, possible straight with a10, and possibly a two pair with the flush draw....so you are only beating a ...

I think jamming is a pretty bad idea here...you have a stack....and you have position.....so flat and try to crack somebody....After thinking about it more while typing this I think flat is the correct option here....see the flop and get out if it is a bad flop for you and their is action ahead.....Folding like you did is not too bad I guess, but nitty as hell.......I think you are losing value in the long run by folding here....especially given that lonny has a healthy stack and dopeboysn isn't short either....perfect set mine spot.....Think about it....If being in position and getting a ...

I like your range on him considering he is isolating. However, I think you can afford to find a better spot IMO. I fold here and continue playing. I understand wanting to chip up, but can't you find spots to do that against the other 4 players at the table that don't have you covered.

Here is my thought on the reraise pre. If I am in villains spot and I do have AA/KK I am probably just going to flat the reraise and try to go to value town on flop. In which case you still do not know where you are at, but have commited the extra 3200. If I have AK I probably ship it in over the reraise. I would flat here and reevaluate on the flop......if an ace or king comes out it is pretty easy to get away with and you are still ok chip wise. If there is no ace and no queen I would lead out for bout 1/2 pot maybe a little more....If I get reraised on the flop I can say I could find a fold, but at the table I probably get it all in....If he shows up with AA/KK gg me.....but i think you are losing way to much value in the long run by not at least seeing a flop....How did it play out'''''

I took my 13" macbook pro to them cause the hard drive was failing. It was about 3 months old. They said they would replace it on the spot. Apple genius goes in the back and they were out of my model. He talked to his manager and I walked out with a 15" upgrade for the free for the trouble. Apple support pwns.
