Re(2): HOW DO YOU CALL HERE?!?!?!!?!?!?!? quit bitching when you get outplayed. Sorry, but this post just makes me very mad. For the past 4 months I've been in the worst run of my life, honestly can't win anything, and we have people complaining when they get caught bluffing. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Am I the only one? And reading Fox's article isn't all that helpful. I know all the rules, I know HOW to manage a bankroll, I just can't. I was looking for an answer more along the lines of "O yeah! I had that problem once, and this is what i did: I gave $5 to my wife everytime i played in a game over my head, and it really fixed my game" You know, something along those lines. Re(2): Am I the only one? that's the thing though, I don't think I have any self control. I only began playing online seriously in June, and I made all of my income, which was significant, from June to mid-December. I haven't won anything since. I think that overall, I will be a losing player, simply because of my lack of self control, and I have no clue how to gain self control. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Am I the only one? Is there anyone else out there that can't manage their bankroll for shit' I mean, I try and try and try, but no matter what i do I can never commit myself to only play in games that are over 15-20x my cashier. It's like everytime i get up in money i feel this urge to play $500 and $200 HU's, sometimes for 1/3 of my bankroll in the $500s. I have worked up a good amount of money (like 1kish) multiple times in a day or two, but then lose it all the next day in like 3 hours because I'm retarded. This has happened AT LEAST 5 times to me, and I'm thinking I'll never learn. I know this is usually a ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Longest you've "run bad?" What's the longest amount of time where you've ran bad' I've been having extremely cold cards from september to now (excluding a great week i had around xmas). It's just really getting on my nerves because I'm not used running this bad for this long. Is this normal' Or do i somehow suck horribly all of sudden' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Can someone tell me how they calculate VPP? Ok, when you a bronze star (or before the whole VPP thing) you would get 5*the rake for your FPP. So in a $100+5 HU tourney, you would get 25 FPP. Right now I'm a silver star, and I just did the math and I got 47 VPP for a $100+5 HU. So you get 9.4*rake=VPP' Seems a little weird to me. Can anyone tell me how VPP is calculated for each star level. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): So this is how people make it to the final table on the Sunday stars tourney: not going to do the math, but i told he had 2-1 odds here. He probably did the "he 'must' have AK here" thought, and called because of odds. If he has AK here 100% of time its a good call. However, thats obviously not true. Posted in: Bad Beats |

I'm just asking because Steve owned me HU, but then i was able to beat cf tourney pretty good HU, and i later found out they were the same person (which, i guess they arent).
