IMO a contract is DEFINITELY the way to go. Since he acknowledges the debt is his, get him to sign an agreement to repayment by a specific date, or a specific series of payments. Outline consequences for delinquency and follow up. If he doesn't pay up, you can sell the debt to a collection agency, and recover ~1/3 of your money at worst. Plus you can threaten to ruin his credit score if he doesn't pay up. And speaking from experience, bad credit = f'ed in the a. glgl

I would imagine Tourney dealers pool tips, so everyone gets a piece from what the players that cash leave behind.

I've only caught one episode, The Juror #7 Job, which featured Brent Spiner (OMG Data!!) and it was pretty good; it also stars 'Angel' alum Christian Kane, and any show with a former Whedonverse member gets +10 in my book. The people who mentioned 'Chuck' and 'Burn Notice' are also classy people with newsletter I'd like to subscribe to.

I've wondered this recently myself; in the last election my Congressional District had no challenger to our Democratic incumbant, and I was tempted to throw my hat into the ring, finally being eliglble to run (turned 25 in 07'), but worried a bit about the online poker playing being an issue. Back in November I decided to give up sodas, and pretty much everything that wasn't water or orange juice (love me some OJ) as well as give up McDonalds and Wendys (Wendys was sooo hard to give up), and started mainlining Subway sandwiches. When I was growing up in Lake Arrowhead, CA 15 years ago, our local non-chain grocery store had a brand called 'Enjoy' beef jerky that I freakin' loved. After I moved I had the hardest time finding it, only occasionally seeing it at random gas stations and buying out their stock. Recently I've seen it popping up in more places in SoCal, I don't know how common it is elsewhere, but you can now buy it online; give it a try, for the price I don't think you'll be disappointed, it's def better than the crappy greasy brand beef jerkys most stores have.

This. The Black Lotus artwork was Work for Hire, Wizards of the Coast owns it, not Rush. You could probably get him to paint it for your personal collection, but you're never going to be able to sell it. Would be pretty awesome to have around though. Anyone not in the know would think it's just random artwork, but everyone who knows the game would be mad jealous. (Still play MTG, wish I had kept my Limited cards, fml)
