Re:stars 1k, how do you proceed? Personally I do not think Foggsy has a real strong hand here. If that were the case I think he would just call the 150 bet on the flop. He has position and by re-raising on the flop it seems like he is trying to buy it right then and there. He would have to figure that Moorman isn't beyond firing again on the turn so it's not like he desperately needs to build the pot on the flop if he has a strong hand. I would call the re-raise and jam the turn regardless. It's not as easy of a spot as it may seem at first, but you have plenty of outs with the open ended straight draw, flush ... Re:Idea for the Daily Doubles on FT Better yet, just put a second list of entrants in chip order in each lobby that just shows people who are playing both. So for the Daily Double A, it will show the list of players and their chip counts as normal, but next to it will show those who are also registered in Daily Double B with their chip counts - and then vice versa for the Daily Double B lobby. Then they should make it when you click on one persons name in one scroll list, it finds and highlights them in the other automatically. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to do since those lists are already a part of their ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Bank requested a phone interview, (Update: Interview complete, results posted) In regards to the original letter and original post, I also received the same exact letter from my bank in the same exact format. Obviously we have the same bank. My letter was dated October 29, 2009. This is not the first letter I had received from them. I recieved a similar letter - it was almost the same except the wording on potential account restriction if I didn't respond was a bit different - several months ago. The first time I called them in response to the first letter, they read me the prepared legal speech and concluded with they could potentially close my account if it were ... Re:Did Jeff Pollack and the WSOP give the player of the year prematurely? They use a point system. Even if Ivey won the Main Event he wouldn't have had enough points to catch Lisandro. Hence why it was awarded when it was. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:????? about bank wire transfer on stars................ Wire transfer is fast and easy. Stars charges no fees for it, your bank does though and it's usually about $50-$100. I like it because it's easy and secure; great for large amounts. Minimum for a wire transfer on Stars is $5k when I last checked, but I think it may be different now due to the current payment processor situation. Full Tilt offers it also, but their minimum is $20k. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Cheater caught in home game, thoughts? You mean the host of the game said he didn't know what was going on. Maybe he let "Lester" off easy by giving him his money because he was aware of what was going on and was in on it. In the pots that money was stolen from and the AA hands, was the host heavily involved in any of those' Was any of his money stolen' If he wasn't in those hands a lot then the host could be aware of it all along and allowing "Lester" free rein to cheat. They could have been sharing the money he stole for all you know. I would ditch the game. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Automated Card Shuffling and Dealing Device To go along with grapsfan's suggestions, maybe projector or laser project a "button" onto the table and automatically have it rotate after each hand. In a more advanced model, you can make even project the locations of the SB and BB as well. Another suggestion can be for it to have pre-programmed voice commands such as "Please post your blinds" or "Please post your blinds and antes", etc. Maybe you can incorporate an LCD display into it so it can connect to a computer so you can display a tournament clock and such so the table can clearly see tourney info ...
