Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... Kris Joseph (Syracuse)- A senior at 6'7 he possesses very good length on the defensive end to guard multiple players. He can do a little bit of everything and will need to elevate his game if Syracuse if going to make a deep run in March. Joseph is a prime candidate for Big East POY and is in line to average around 17,7, and 3. Posted in: Off Topic |

Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... How about Memphis (on the rise)- being in C-USA they never got any recognition up until the last few years under Calipari who groomed studs like tyreke evans and derrick rose. since Calipari has left, no one really talks about them anymore...well...bc they're in C-USA. but they have been solid the last 2 seasons and with heralded frosh Adonis Thomas, aka Meta World Peace #2, along withWill Barton and Joe Jackson, Memphis is def a team to watch out for. Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... if you can take a mid major team to the ship 2 years in a row you're doing something right. Brad Stevens gets his team to play cohesively arguably better than anyone in the country. He is a master when it comes to statistics and uses that knowledge to adjust to his opponents extremely well. after one year i didnt think much of him but to lose your prize piece (hayward) and return to the ship again. Guy deserves the recognition Posted in: Off Topic |

Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... umm they WERE supposed to be that good. in 09-10 like i said they finished top5 in the country so im pretty sure they were in top 10 preseason ranking entering 10-11. they returned everyone of importance aside from henry but replaced his offensive prowess with shelby. the rest of your debate is really taking away from the coaching aspect. I just think with the talent they had theres no way they lose 2 years in a row to an 11 seed and 8/9 seed without putting blame on coach Self. Agree to disagree Posted in: Off Topic |

Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... for a team to rank #1 two years in a row then lose to a far inferior team in VCU. i mean give VCU credit they played there asses off but the talent and experience of that Kansas team greatly eclipses VCU's. Their frontline, 3pt shooting, athletism should have pummeled VCUs 2man show bro last year they lost to an 11 seed the year before that they lost to an 8 or 9seed. FAROKMANESH!!!!!! Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... Bill Self has had some of the best recruiting classes in the last 10 years and yet only has 1 championship (if it werent for a Chalmers last second heave it would be 0). I just think he hasnt produced the way a coach should produce with the talent hes had. Last year they had the morris twins, reed, morningstar, and of course selby and exited early. the year before that -selby+ xavier henry another early exit. no doubt hes a great recruiter but as far as coaching goes I think theres still alot to be desired. As for calhoun he's a great coach...ehh f it, in fact you win calhoun>williams. Both ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Pluv's College Basketball Top 5 lists and more.... 1. Coach K 2. Tom Izzo 3. Roy Williams 4. Ben Howland 5. Brad Stevens Honorable Mention: Calipari, Lorenzo Romar, Thad Matta Overrated: Jim Boeheim, Bill Self Trying to define this list is pretty vague tho, it has to deal with your interpretation of a top tier coach. Many coaches float in and out over the years due to the talent level they have acquired for that year. Imo it is harnessing the talent of your squad to the best of their ability. Keeps these lists coming! Some ideas top 5 by postion..dunkers..defensive specialists..best jumpshot Posted in: Off Topic |

What's your typical workout? if you really are dedicated to working out 5-6x a week, exercising one body part per day is really the way to go. my 6-day rotation is chest, back, triceps, biceps, shoulders, and legs/abs. I would highly recommend you jog for 10 minutes pre-workout which allows for your muscles to stimulate and get your heart rate going. then start up whatever muscle group your focusing on that day. per muscle group you want to do 8 exercises and at least 3sets. first set aim for 10-12 reps, increase weight 2nd set 8-10 reps, increase weight 3rd 6-8 reps (not set in stone but just a guideline, i.e. abs ... Aquille Carr- Get to know the name Isaiah* was actually 5'10 but i do see alot of similarities in their game ball on a string handle, lightning quick, solid passing and fearless tenacity. aquille is going to need a shooting coach (and someone to teach him how to make a left handed layup) but he is going to be a very good college pro and if he keeps working at it hopefully one day hell reach the nba Posted in: Off Topic |

Durant goes off in Rucker Park game. anyone who thinks this shit is real basketball has never watched a professional game. there is absolutely zero defense played and the quality of competition is extremely weak in terms of fundamental ball. theres a reason why guys like dajuan wagner didnt pan out in the NBA even tho they tore it up at Rucker Park. where can i watch/stream movies online for free? Just install any p2p server such as utorrent and google "insert movie" torrent and download it (or go to a site like ). this way you don't have to worry about shitty streaming media sites that have a tendency to freeze. and by downloading movies you can store them on say a external hard drive and take them straight to your big screen Posted in: Off Topic |

Scranton, PA poker scene i go to MSPD frequently and have to say on the contrary dealers are very good, except for 2 older dealers. Theres usually not a long wait for 1/2 nl and always a table of 2/5 going. they also offer limit games up to 10/20weekday (up to 30/60 some nights and weekends) and will usually see a 7 card stud going and maybe a plo at night and weekends. tourneys during the week are $65 buy in 2x a day and $120 on weekends with 20min blinds Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Mount Airy/Sands Caisno, PA i play at pocono downs frequently and love it...its real close to mt airy too whereas sands is in bethelehem. dealers are quick and friendly and theres always a bunch of 1/2 going on, usually one 2/5, and always some kinda mixed game.. weekends sometimes gets a 5/10 game. they run tourneys twice a day i havent played in one yet but they get about 60 runners on a weeknight at a 100+20 buy in Posted in: Poker Discussion |
