My failed poker career comes to a crashing halt! So yea i never made that big score. I never got to cash a sick fat check and brag about my skills to my jealous friends. All I ever did with on-line poker is lose then lose and lose a little more. Of course I did win here and there, but it didn't matter I eventually gave it all back. Ususally in a fury of moronic play at 3 am after 8 hours of trying to play decent and building up a little bankroll. So I SURRENDER to you poker, you beat me. I quit, you are the master of the universe and the 4 or 5k I am down in my life to you is yours to keep forever. I will take up some other useless ... Posted in: Bad Beats |

Decided to be patient........got my @#$ beat. 10k Guarantee on Tilt. 300 chips to start with, I am at 1200 chips blinds are 40-80. I have Q-Q mid position. UTG +1 raises 3x. I reach to push and I remember I am trying to be more patient and think when I have big hands. I decide there is a good chance he has A-K, A-Q, A-J. So I decide I will just call and if there is no A or K on the flop then I push. The flop is 5-6-7, he pushes, I call, he is holding K-8 and obv he makes straight on the river. So now I am kicking myself that I did not snap push after his early raise. He probably folds if he has any clue. Thoughts' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:FT rail call!!!!! ( short stack) I fold there if I am you, he was an early position raiser with great stats. I would assume he has you dominated. Turns out it was a coinflip, but that was the best you could hope for there. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Did I allow this bad beat to happen? $26-45 Man, 13 left I have 6500. Blinds are 150-300. Loose player under the gun min raises, I am in mid position with A-K. I reraise to 1500. Everyone else folds. Flop is J-7-2 Rainbow. He checks, I check (First mistake') Turn is Ace, he checks, I bet 1800, he calls. River is an 8, he goes all in, I call---he turns over A-8 for 2 pair. So I don't care about the fact that he sucks for calling my 1500 with A-8, I want to know if I should not have went bust on this hand' If so how could I have avoided it' Bet the Flop' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Monster leak in my game and probably yours? 9-9, 8-8, 7-7, 6-6 make me re-deposit! How do you play these hands' If I raise 3x just as I do with big hands and then get called and don't improve on the flop WTF do I do now' It is easy to say fold, but I hate giving up on hands that easy, so often I bluff with these hands post flop when I miss, hoping they think I hit the flop. Someone suggested I always limp with those hands and if I hit then get the most I can, but the 90% I miss on the flop I should just let it go. I know there are other factors such as position and chip stack and the blind level. But assuming a average chip stack ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Playing flush draws How does someone that knows what they are doing play this. Blinds are 100-200, you have about 5k which is around the avg in a MTT. You hold K-10 Clubs, you limp in against two players and the flop is A-4-9 with two clubs. Say there is now 700 in the pot and someone bets 600 into you' My instinct normally is to make a big raise here and also be prepared to call an all in re-raise. But I am -2k on Full tilt, so I am wondering if playing flush draws are one my leaks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I might have found a way to make a consistent (small) profit. I am negative about $1800 over 3 years on FT. I am a small time player mostly. I know I have improved, but I don't have the BR to play big tournaments so I am always grinding small stuff. I often won a little and then played when I was tired and on tilt and gave it back. About 5 months ago I tried an experiment on FT where I would play a set of the 300 chip 9 manSit & go's. After several days of doing this I was averaging a small profit in every set of 10. But eventually I got bored of that and went back to playing above my BR and losing everything. I have always felt real ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Poker Stars shows amazing class I was in one of those heads up matches where there was a glitch and the players could keep rebuying over and over without the money. I won 1800 from a guy that playing like a moron. I thought for sure Stars would not let me keep the money, but they actually did. Anyone hear what happend to the people that won thousands during that glitch' Did they get to keep the money' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Check this out Last night on Stars I am playing a guy HU 100, he is playing like a wildman. Going all in over and over. Most matches are over in 5 hands or less. After 2 hours, I am +1800 Today my account is locked, because apparantly Stars had a glitch in their rematch system and the guy did not have that money in his account. They have not responded back to my email about this yet. I am assuming they are going to confiscate all the money I won from him. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
