OMG I hate that miserable cunt ayn rand so much it makes my eyes hurt. And I'm so sick of the 'my family worked hard so they deserve the massive wealth they amassed' argument. Look to the (in')famous Liberal manifesto post in regards to 'taking credit' for success. You weren't born apart from the world you were born in it, into a specific time and place. The idea of subject vs. object is old and fucking tired and people need to let it go in order to adopt a more nuanced and accurate view of the way the universe works. monitor/multitable question
Ok so this is an asinine question I'm quite sure, but what's the best way to configure the monitor settings so that I can utilize the maximum screen space (i believe 20 inches from the pokerstars store a couple years ago) for 6 tables. As of now, with the best contrast, which is all I can tolerate, I can fit four very nicely in a tile and then it jumps to tiny-table rows/columns of 3. cliff notes: How do I make a tile layout with 2 rows, 3 columns and use my whole screen or as much as possible. Sigh, i'm such a computer nub.

So I'm moving to philly soon and I'm in the process of setting up my room/poker office and a definite must is some dope speakers for crucial tunes and movies/ sports. I'm looking for a nice surround sound system that could be toggled between my computer and tv (which will be in the same room). I'm not sure if if this is 'lol' low but I'm thinking my budget is about 1k right now. Any ideas' Have people set up such systems'

Exactly, it's about socioeconomics has to be by far the overriding factor here, that's the point. Thinking along racial lines is so much less useful for talking about race politics in america as paradoxical as that might sound. It's about racial perception vs social reality.

So the deal is that I just decided to be a professional poker player about a month ago for the couple of years I plan on taking after college and before the next thing (probably some kind of grad school). So I decided to move in with some friends in West Philly on the Upenn campus. I am really really excited after living in the shit-hole of Winston-salem for four years. But I've never been to philly before. I think I'm going to visit in a couple of weeks, so shout out the fun stuff the people familiar with the city do and maybe the best dive bar/music/whatever scenes to go ...

As played, I don't think c/c flop and turn and check fold river is bad. That being said, I like c-betting flop (there are lots of stacks in the hand you would be more than happy to get in against) and then check call turn, check fold river. The reason for this is his range isn't as polarized as you might think. on the river it seems to me that the nuts are always betting and weaker aces are always checking back. If he bluffs off a double stack with a missed draw/rags/whatever then that is a super-read in an of itself and I think most players are preserving their $500 in favor of ...

Yes, you need hundreds of thousands of hands to establish anything resembling a real winrate, but 200k will give you a general picture. Also, please stop 24 tabling nl10 and just learn how to play and grind like 12 tables of nl25 and move up from there. Or, if you really want to get better you need to get a coach.
