Floor decision at WSOP In the first hand the player who voluntarily mucked his hand his hand is dead. The other player who turned his hand up then walked away, his hand is live (because he turned it face up) until the dealer mucks it then it is dead. "Player must protect their hand!!!" However, I have seen floors rule that a player who turned his hand face up should not be penalized for the dealer mucking and their hand was then retrieved from the muck and then the pot was given to the winners. If floor awarded the pot to that player without even making an effort to retreive his hand, that is a shit ruling. Like I ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:I wanted to fold AA preflop last night (PLO) listen to coinguy!! If you can't get HU w/AA it's garbage. Omaha hi is a postflop game w/few exceptions. Your goal for preflop raises should always be 1) to get HU w/+ev hand. or 2) to win the blinds. Coinguy is a good Omaha plyr and so am I. Your decision to raise pre should be based on what you think your chances are of accomplishing 1 or 2 which u should base on the table dynamic (are a lot of plyrs fishing in, is there a lot of preflop raising etc). Play good hands cheap w/redraws take the money!! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Payout structure in mtt's I agree and have for years theproblem arises with doing the mathematical payout formula for various field sizes. Still trying to figure this out myself but it is very tricky. i think the (paid)field need to be broken up into segments to get the scaling right. But, I agree PAY 10-12% MIN CASH 2X BUY IN MIN. I WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON THIS IN MY SPARE TIME AND I HOPE IT WILL CHANGE IN THE FUTURE. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:This One's For You, Old "Live Pro" Hey Frank, I like this post!!! I am 42 Y.O. and probably have committed one or two of the sins you mentioned, however, this game is my life and I love it and always want to learn. So, with that said, If there's the slightest truth to you being sorry, and if age truely isn't an issue for you, PM me and train/ghost/teach and/or enlighten me! If you do, and it works, I will post here that you did this and that your skills at this game are extraordinary!!! I am asking you to do this because my game feels a little stuck (but my mind is still quite open). I want to acquire more insight into ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

I have a pending bonus on PS which i am working on clearing, Can I withdraw funds while/b4 I clear my bonus and still be eligible for the bonus' I know this seems to be a silly question, and i know it has been posted somewhere b4 but i don't want to search for the answer. Re:Your reaction on your first 4 or 5 figure online tourney win I've had several 4 fig scores but my first 5 fig went like this: I was at "The Battle of the Bay" in S.F. made the final table about 6th in chips in a limit holdem tourney. I watched the other players and I soon recognized a potential target. She was directly to my left and she was very aggressive. She was obv betting people off their hands often to acquire her stack. She had on a shirt that said "Bitch with an attitude" or something like that and it was obv she was not liked by the table or the some 40 people on the rail. It was folded to me in the SB So I decided to ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
