$100 to name my business Id go with simple and name it: Bagel Bakery or The Bagel Bake Shop or just the bake shop Also names that play on psychology are good like: Savory Bagel Bakery or just Savories Too bad your not specializing in cakes because the name "sophisticakes" is a cool idea imo.... UB is scrwing me and i dont know how to handle it About 3 months ago I had a problem with UB. I had taken a 6-8 month break from online poker then decided to jump back into it. My first time trying to log back into my UB account I was inexplicably locked out. I called them to ask why and they informed me that this guy that I used to share an apartment with like 5 years ago had evidently somehow screwed them out of some money by depositing then immediately closing his bank account or something like that. When I asked how it made sense that I was punished for the behavior of someone else that had nothing to do with me they stated that since ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:new poker setup... Obviously getting a faster computer is mandatory, as far as getting new and bigger monitors alot of people really like that but you might find that its actually harder and more tiring to multitable on big and/or multiple monitors. Ive had the multiple monitor setups and tried many combos and for some reason I find it much easier to just play on a single monitor and just overlap them, tiling out tables on big monitors and multiple monitors just requires so much eye/kneck movement and strain that its not worth it to me. Personally I love to play on my Dell XPS gaming style laptop with the suped ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Internet Choices For Online Poker Definitly this. In my experience in many locations Cable internet while the fastest is always somewhat unreliable, it will sometimes go out and be out for hours and even days at a time. Id get Cable internet as your primary and have a aircard as back up, aircards if your location is good for them are extremely reliable, my Sprint aircard has never gone out or been down in over a year, when I just had cable internet it would sometimes go down and id be screwed scrambling to call someone or go to a coffee shop or something, with an aircard if your internet goes down you can just stick the ole ... Re:Attention all cash players.....advice please!! I think that its best to set goals for yourself to play a certain amount of time or a certain number of hands. Then your goal for the day will be to play say 4 hours or maybe 1000 hands of your best poker and then quit or take a break or whatever. When you do this its nice because rather than having a goal to win a certain amount of money or whatever you can make a goal thats easier to manage emotionally. On a given day if you sit down and play your predetermined amount of hands or hours and give it your best then you have suceeded. If you practice playing according to this philosophy its ... Re:Aircards "With these aircards, would you have to buy a one year (or more) service plan or could you just buy it for a couple months at a time' Also, how reliable would they be on a road trip'" The other day I was at a truck stop and I noticed that they had pay as you go aircards where you paid for use by purchasing cards that had a certain amount of minutes on them. They seemed to be basically an air card with the same principle as tracfone or boost mobile where you buy like 100 or 200 minutes then when you run out you would have to buy another block of minutes to continue using it. The air ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:question about Vegas Once you get there you can just go to any poker room, like maybe the room at whatever hotel your staying at and grab a cardplayer magazine, in the back they have nightly tournaments for the bigger cities, find Las Vegas and youll have a grid in front of you listing all the nigthlys at the various casino for each day and time. Re:Aircards I use a Sprint Air Card as my primary (sole) interenet connection, I can plug it into my laptop or my desktop. Its unreal reliable and plenty fast for playing poker on. Ive used it basically everyday for long hours for like a year and other than having to restart it occassionally its never ever gone out the way cable internet does from time to time. I would reccomend it to anyone although I know that locations vary on speed and reliability. I had a verizon one that was very slow and unreliable where I live. I could not imagine a better source for internet than my Sprint card. No im not ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Props to Stars Late Registration is not mutually exclusive with synhronized breaks. Not to mention this particular aspect of the site is not exactly going above and beyond reasonable expectation. Dont get me wrong I love Stars, I just really think that they should adopt synchronized breaks and I feel that this particular praise is akin to praising a site for maintaining the rule that the small blind is half the big blind or some other fairly standard procedure for a poker site.... Can anyone recommend a online Gin site? Ive been kinda getting into playing Gin lately, I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a site online where you can play Gin for real money. Obviously I could just google this but I was hoping for someone reputable to suggest a site that they know to be legitamate and honest and that has good software and deposit/cashout options. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. -Crice25 Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:is ub down? Just wanted to say that I did later get more than the original buyin back, didnt seem like very much more considering that there was a ton of people out and my stack was pretty good, but at least I recieved more than just a refund for beating out 2/3 of the field.... Re:is ub down? I just got 1050 credited to my account for the 1k. Probably over 100 people had been eliminated the first time it crashed, and there were like 30 players left the second time it crashed. It wasnt clear whether the play between the first crash and the second crash counted, but either way, it makes no sense that id only get the buyin back when many many people were eliminated before the site went down at all. Whats going on here' Should I expect more money to be coming eventually' If not does Ub just basically pocket this money' GRRRRRRRRRRRR Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:watching johnnybax play Obviously the only aspect of this hand thats really questionable is the turn play, and I think the best explanation for Bax check calling the turn has not been stated. The villian really polarizes his range here when he bets the turn. Its not likely that a competent player value bets this turn with an ace. Now that their hand has a tremendous amount of showdown value they will want to get to showdown or induce a bluff from their opponent. They just got checkcalled on a J-J-X board, they arent gonna bet here with an ace too often, they will be concerned with being checkraised off their newly ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Dear Stars: I Quit Another big gripe I have with stars is that they repeatedly deny my request to add a "block all eyeball avatars" option under the options tab in the lobby. Notice there is no giant gross eyeball option for an avatar at FTP. Actually the only way id quit playing stars is if they introduced synchronized breaks but decided to have them at a different time then FTP lol that would be just reedonkulous. But im really surprised that Stars wouldnt do the synchronized breaks along with FTP at least for the bigger tournaments where they know basically 100% that like more than half the field ... Re:Close spot 40k on ftp WARNING PARTIAL HAND RESULT SPOILER BELOW: I shoved KK here so that it would look like AK and that part of the thought process would be: "any donk that would shove this stack size could have anything." A big reason for this was that I knew the initial raiser was a strong player who wouldnt be making a large error postflop if I flatted and also wouldnt be flatting me if I just 3 bet. I also did not think that if I just 3 bet that my opponent would 4 bet any hands that he would fold if I shoved. I think if the original raiser has like 99 or TT he would be inclined to fold if I just 3 ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Hand vs Norfman Early in 320 Pstars. I think whether you 3 bet preflop here or just flat would depend on your read on the player. The fact that its so difficult to find a line postflop that we feel comfortable with after flatting (especially considering we have top pair) becomes a good argument for 3betting more often flatting. Its pretty clear that AJ is ahead of a button raiser's range so folding is out of the question and personally I think flatting or 3 betting is fine and reads/table image/trny structure should sway you one way or the other. That being said I think that if you choose to flat preflop, you have to accept ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Sharkscope results...good or nor/sample size??? Sharkscope for full tilt includes multitable tournament results now as well, if i had to guess, id say a mtt win caused this, up until about a week ago I was a small loser for sharkscope, now that mtt results are included im showing a profit and a very solid roi on sharkscope for FTP, not sure if this has been discussed already, but again sharkscope for full tilt is counting multis in their data. Edit: no I dont mean mtt sngs, but actual scheduled mult table- tournaments Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:22'' monitor question 22' monitor resolutions vary a great deal, if the monitor doesn't not have high resolution then the default window size will be very large, then when you rezsize them they will be blurry. Make sure you are aware of the resolution because many of the cheaper 22" monitors have such bad resolution that you cant play many tables without a crappy picture. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
