Re:Is This A Bad Call vs Unknown Player Or Standard????
Usually when people shove like that in the lower buy-in tourneys you up against AK, and at worst AQ. Considering the stacks someone with AA shouldn't really do this, but I have seen it happen. It's just the big stack saying go away. When people open shove a ridiculous amount though on top of a previous raise, it's usually AK simply because they are afraid to play post flop and think "OMG THIS IS A HUUUUUUUUUUUGE HAND." pre flop.

Re:Nice play Alexander Gomez...............
Well, Gomes is chip leader now after crippling Saul. 6 6 6 x Q board and Gomes shoves after a 1.3 mil river bet from Saul. Called and Gomes flips AA to Saul's KQ.

Re:.10 / .25 NL Full Ring: Is this being a nit? Do I raise river?
But is the line bad' How many people would throw a little $2 river value bet out and just call any raise' I think i was being a a nit on the river. If I bet out $2 and get raised to $6 I call. If they have my beat fine. If they shove my $2 I obviously fold.

.10 / .25 NL Full Ring: Is this being a nit? Do I raise river?
Basically is this just a standard line or do others play this differently ' Villain was like 10 / 14 but basically always raised something if folded to them. I'm just wondering if I'm being a nit not raising this' The only things to really worry about are a 2 in the villains hand or a flopped set. Best format for home game SNG type tourneys?
Hey, Could I get some advice for how many chips is the ideal amount per player (assuming 6-7 players') for a home game in the format where blinds operate initially at 1 chip - 2 chips person knocked out 2 chips - 4 chips person knocked out 3 chips - 6 chips obviously it's not the ideal way to play but it's the easiest drunk poker amongst friends way to play. What's a decent starting chip stack based on this tho' 40 each'

The best part is - regardless of replies like 90% of people would still just ship it all in and refuse to fold the KK. Stubborness FTW!

Re(3): Anyone else see Rizen's new 25/50$ nl video on PxF?
yes. they are trying to expand into cash game videos. the difference though is PXF is asking tourney specialists to put together cash game videos (not their forte but still good) whereas card runners are cash game specialists.

Re(3): QQ cash game spot
Well, I don't use poker ace hud or anything else. I still consider them forms of cheating. You don't got those stats with you at a live table - why should u have em online. I mostly play from reads. If I'm playing .25/.50 as well...at those stakes I expect to be rolled to play it and I'm jamming with this hand and the way he played it.

Re(1): QQ cash game spot
pre-flop raise is fine. I have no quams with it. I shove his raise on the flop though. Villain could easily have AJ, KJ, QJ as well as any 2 spades. The fact he limped pre-flop tells me he's got marginal and wanted to see the flop. If he's got trips then he's getting paid. Simple as that. This is a hit I take and if you can't afford it you're maybe playing out of your BR'

Re(1): How many sessions are players willing to play?
I play based on my tourney schedule. Basically, when I start playing in my regular tourneys I open up 2 side cash-game tables and I let that session ride until either: a) I get knocked out of all my tourneys b) I make it deep into one tourney where I need to give full primary focus w/o distractions.
